Chapter 24: Never Divorce
Seeing that she still didn't answer his question, Jiang Hong became more and more certain that he must have guessed right. She really was planning to divorce him!
"Comrade Li Yiyi, listen to me carefully. I will not divorce you, not even if I die." He moved his mouth to her ear and lingered in her ear with his low, deep voice.

His sudden question, which made people blush and their heart beat fast, frightened Li Yiyi so much that she couldn't bear it for a moment and choked on her saliva.
When Jiang Hong heard her cough, his eyes, which seemed to be able to see through things at night, immediately locked onto her. He reached out and patted her back, "Are you okay? How come you, an adult, choked on your own saliva like a child?" There was a subtle pampering in his tone.
Li Yiyi, who had finally calmed down, heard his words and immediately waved his hand away, answering unhappily, "I am in this state now because of you!"
Jiang Hong then realized that she was coughing because of what he had just said. He immediately shut his mouth and stopped talking about this topic.
Li Yiyi heaved a sigh of relief when she saw that he stopped talking. She really didn't want to talk to him about the topic just now. It was so embarrassing.
"It's getting late, go to bed early, I'm so sleepy." After saying that, she immediately lay down, turned around, and left her back to him.
Jiang Hong looked at her quick movements, opened his mouth, and finally swallowed the words back. He stared at her back with soft eyes, and a smile slowly appeared at the corner of his mouth.
Li Yiyi spent this night almost in a dream.
At night, she had a dream that made her want to find a hole in the ground to crawl into. She actually dreamed that she took advantage of Jiang Hong's drunkenness and knocked him down, and the two of them did unspeakable things all night.
Although it was a dream, the feeling was so real. Even though she woke up now, her cheeks were still hot.
Lying on the bed, she patted her burning cheeks with her hands. After she sobered up a little, she turned around and looked at both sides of the bed. They were empty. She was the only person still sleeping in this bed.

Li's mother was sitting opposite her son-in-law Jiang Hong, crying and complaining.

When Jiang Hong heard this, his handsome face had already turned completely dark. He suppressed the anger that erupted from his chest, clenched his fists, and coldly interrupted Li's mother's words, "Alright, stop talking!"
His roar startled Li's mother who was in the mood for happiness.
Only then did Li's mother realize that the expression on her son-in-law's face sitting opposite her was too scary, especially the way he stared at her, as if he wanted her to throw him out of the house.
Li Da Niu hurriedly interrupted and introduced herself to Jiang Hong with shyness in her eyes, "Brother Jiang, I am Li Da Niu. I am very capable and can do anything. Don't worry, I will definitely treat your two children as my own and will never let them suffer like before. I promise you."

Her voice startled Li's mother and Li Da Nv.
