Chapter 351: Calling in the Middle of the Night

"I've told you it's no use, you little brat. Are you deaf? How can I just give you the prescription to do something like that?" Third Uncle immediately shook off his hand and said.

Shen Zhonghe sighed. Seeing that the grandfather in front of him was really adamant, he knew that even if he stayed here longer, his grandfather would not agree.

"Okay, Grandpa, I still hope you can think about what I said carefully. I have something to do now, so I have to go back to the city first. I will come to see you another day."

Third Uncle watched him leave and immediately shouted after him, "Don't come to see me even if you have time. You're not coming to see me sincerely, you little brat."

Li Yiyi had no idea what happened to her third uncle.

After she came out of the village clinic, she went straight to the home she and Jiang Hong had lived in before.

When she came over, Jiang Hong was already cleaning inside.

"I need several pots and medicine pots. When you are free, please ask people in the city if anyone is selling them. Buy a few for me." Looking at the house that he had almost cleaned, Shen Jie walked behind him and said.

Jiang Hong stopped what he was doing, nodded, and carefully took to heart the request his wife had just made.

"Okay, I've got it. When I finish my work here, I'll go to the city to buy those things for you. Do you need anything else besides these things?" He put down the broom in his hand and looked at her seriously and asked.

"I don't have any for now. Just take those few things and I'll figure out the rest myself," she replied.

The young couple stayed in their new home for a long time before returning to Lao Jiang's home.

When we got home, the two children were reading books in the yard.

Jiang's mother was looking after her grandson and granddaughter. While helping her family sew clothes, she would look up from time to time at her grandson and granddaughter who were reading quietly. Her eyes were full of love for the two children.

"Mom." The couple came in and called out to her.

When Jiang Yueyue and Jiang Zhanpeng saw their parents coming back, they put down the books they were reading and ran towards them.

"Dad, Mom, where did you go?" Jiang Zhanpeng asked coquettishly.

"I went out to do something. What were you looking at just now?" Jiang Hong asked, touching his son's head.

"I'm reading a comic book and my sister is doing exercises." Jiang Zhanpeng replied.

Li Yiyi heard this and patted her daughter's head, "Yueyue, is there anything you don't understand?"

Jiang Yueyue shook her head and answered with a sweet smile on her face, "Not yet, I understand everything. When there is something I don't understand, I will tell mom."

"Okay." Li Yiyi smiled and touched her little head.

Just then, Jiang's mother's voice rang out.

"Both children are very well behaved. Anyway, I have watched the other children in the family grow up. They are all very naughty, unlike Yueyue and Xiaobao, who just do their own things quietly. You two have taught the two children very well." Jiang's mother walked up to the family of four and said.

The brother and sister blushed as they listened to their grandmother's praises, then they found an excuse and shyly ran inside.

The three adults who stayed behind laughed when they saw how shy the two siblings were.

In the following days, Li Yiyi gave acupuncture to Brother Jiang and made ointments. A week passed like this. Suddenly one night, Brother Jiang screamed in pain while he was sleeping.

His shout not only scared Mrs. Jiang who was sleeping next to him, but also woke up the rest of the family.

Everyone hurried into their room.

When they ran in one by one, they saw Brother Jiang sitting on the bed, staring at his legs in a daze, and Sister-in-law Jiang was beside him, wiping her tears, not knowing whether she was happy or sad.

When Jiang's mother saw this, she almost fainted, but fortunately her youngest son supported her back.

She quickly came to her senses, looked at the eldest couple and asked, "Why don't one of you come out and talk? What's going on? Are you trying to drive us crazy?"

Father Jiang also looked at his eldest son and his wife anxiously. He took a deep breath and said, "Eldest son's wife, stop crying. Tell us what happened and why did the eldest son yell just now?"

Mrs. Jiang wiped the tears from her eyes and looked at her family members who appeared in her room with a happy face and said, "Dad, Mom, good news. The child's father was yelling just now because his legs were hurting. He was awakened by the pain of his own legs."

"Is what you said true?" Jiang's mother asked her eldest daughter-in-law excitedly.

Mrs. Jiang's eyes became red again, and she nodded vigorously, "It's true. Just now, the child's father didn't believe that his leg was hurting. He even asked me to pinch his leg. But he just said he was in pain. It must be true."

At this point, Jiang Dasao looked towards Li Yiyi with gratitude, "Third sister-in-law, thank you, you really cured my husband's leg."

When Li Yiyi heard the good news, she was happy for the couple from the bottom of her heart.

"We are all family, so don't be polite, sister-in-law. Let me check Brother Jiang's legs first." After saying that, she walked forward, stretched out her hand and examined Brother Jiang's legs that were covered with plasters.

After a careful inspection, Li Yiyi's lips curled up slowly, "It's a success, brother's broken tendons are growing back."

"What do you mean, sister-in-law? Are you saying that my legs are getting better?" Brother Jiang asked excitedly.

Li Yiyi nodded gently, and announced to everyone present with a smile, "Brother, you will need to have the needles on your legs for another week, and apply the ointment I gave you for another half a month, then you can try to walk again."

As soon as she finished speaking, the room was filled with laughter from the whole family, who were happy for him.

In the following days, there was more and more laughter in the Jiang family, especially among Brother Jiang and his wife. It seemed as if the smiles on their faces had never disappeared.

Half a month passed quickly, and on this day, with the attention of his family, Brother Jiang slowly stood up from the chair with the help of his family.

After finally standing up, he forgot how to walk for a moment.

At this moment, he was so anxious that sweat was about to drip down his forehead.

Seeing him motionless, everyone became nervous. Jiang Dasao looked at him with a pale face and asked, "Dad, what's wrong with you? Why don't you walk? Are your legs still unable to walk?"

Li Yiyi touched her chin and said, "It's impossible. Logically, this shouldn't be the case. Brother, can you tell me how you feel right now?"
