Guan Yuxi didn't even think about it.
He quickly fired a shot into the man's chest.
Because the person at the door was none other than the scarred man who had fought with the archaeological team before!

Chen Ergou scoffed.

He glared at her menacingly.
Bai Qin was so frightened that she took a step back.
"What, afraid of me?"
Chen Ergou stepped forward and gently lifted her chin.
Bai Qin's originally fair face developed many freckles due to her pregnancy.
Furthermore, her once pointed oval face has become rounder.
Even a double chin has appeared.
The bruises under her eyes were swollen and raised, making her look haggard and obese.
Chen Ergou pushed her away in disgust.
I wiped my hands on my clothes.
Bai Qin's mind was in a mess.
If she had known Chen Ergou needed money right now, she shouldn't have come to join in the fun.
She was pushed and stumbled.
Once she had regained her footing, she immediately turned and pressed herself against Chen Ergou's arm.
"Brother Er Gou, they didn't bring that much money."
"Or, I can give it to you another day."
She pouted and kept rubbing against his arm.
The woman's unique softness made Chen Ergou gasp.
He was never a good person.
Now she has me completely distracted.

He immediately lost interest in Bai Qin.
