Leng Lie stared at the couple expressionlessly. "What are you doing here?"
Just as Li Chunhua was about to speak, her man shoved her aside.
"Leng Lie, whether you acknowledge it or not, your mother is with me, so I am your father."
You got married without even asking for our consent, so we don't recognize this marriage!
Moreover, what kind of logic is it for a married couple to live at the woman's house?
"Your father can't afford to lose face like that."
Li Mod was unshaven, staring sideways at Leng Lie, with a few specks of yellow eye boogers hanging from the corner of his eye.
He was wearing a pair of old cotton shoes, and his tattered cotton coat was greasy and open.
He adopted an arrogant demeanor befitting an elder.
His cold gaze swept past him and landed on Li Chunhua. "You also think that I need your permission to get married?"
"The woman I've chosen as my wife, don't you want to accept her?"
Li Chunhua rolled her eyes. "How could that be? It's just the dowry..."
"You shameless woman, what nonsense are you spouting!"
Li Mod turned around and slapped her.
The blows were so severe that Li Chunhua saw stars, but she didn't dare utter a sound and retreated to the side with her head down.
"I heard your wife is a lazy bum who likes to eat and do nothing."
Although the old man is supported by his salary, how many more years can he live at his age?
"I've already found you a wife, and we'll take care of the entire wedding. You just need to wait to be the groom."
Li Mod put on a serious expression and advised Leng Lie.
Leng Lie gave a cold laugh and turned back into the courtyard.
Just as he was about to close the door, Li Mod stepped in front of him, blocking the doorway and glaring at him angrily, "Don't you have any manners?"
"I was talking to you, and you just walked away without saying a word? What kind of behavior is that?"
Leng Lie's gaze was cold and piercing, and his entire body exuded a chilling aura.
"Get out of my way!"
"You, you dare tell me to get lost?"
Li Mod raised his hand, wanting to slap him, but was intimidated by his gaze.
For a moment, they found themselves in a difficult predicament.
He slammed the door shut without hesitation.
Li Mod's hand, which was supporting the door hinge, was pinned down, and he screamed in agony.
"ah!"
"My hand hurts so much!"
"You fucking dare to bully me!"
Leng Lie's eyes suddenly turned fierce, and he raised his fist. "Say that again?"
"Fine, I'll say it then..."
Li Mod didn't believe he would really dare to hit him, and defiantly puffed out his chest.
"Brother Lie, no."
Guan Yuxi walked out, supporting her waist, but was grabbed by Li Mod and blocked in front of her.
A pale, delicate face suddenly appeared before her.
Leng Lie hurriedly withdrew his strength, gritting his teeth and angrily saying, "Let her go!"
Li Mod turned his head to look at Guan Yuxi.
"Oh, so she's a vixen. No wonder she could bewitch..."
Leng Lie could no longer hold back and slammed his fist, as hard as a vinegar jar, into his face. "Shut your stinking mouth!"
His face was full of hostility as he threw Li Mod in front of Li Chunhua.
"If he dares to speak rudely to my wife again, I'll knock out his dog teeth."
I already said this when you left with this man:
You have no right to interfere in my life anymore, and the man you marry has nothing to do with me!
He lovingly embraced Guan Yuxi.
Li Chunhua hurriedly helped Li Mode up.
Li Mod raised his hand and slapped her twice more. "You're just an egg, you can't even hatch a chick to lay eggs."
"You can't even take care of your own son, what use are you to me?"
Li Chunhua nodded and dared not refute.
Following Li Mod's signal, she understood and went to Leng Lie.
"Son, your father is doing this for your own good..."
"My dad died a long time ago!"
Li Chunhua was speechless.
Leng Lie glanced at him indifferently, then embraced Guan Yuxi and went back into the house.
"Why don't you acknowledge me?"
Li Chunhua grabbed him, "I carried you for ten months and raised you to adulthood, and you just want to disown me like that?"
Leng Lie frowned deeply.
He looked at her as if she were a stranger. "Let go!"
Li Chunhua glanced at Li Mode with a shiver.
Li Mod glared at her and kicked a small stone hard.
The little stone rolled and tumbled to Guan Yuxi's feet.
Her legs gave way and she fell to the ground.
Leng Lie was a step too slow and couldn't stop her.
Are you alright?
He quickly helped her up.
Guan Yuxi frowned slightly. "It seems like I twisted my ankle."
Leng Lie helped her sit down.
He stared sharply at Li Mod, his voice cold as he asked, "Did you kick the stone?"
"So what if it is?"
You unfilial son, do you really dare to hit me?
"You want to knock my teeth out? Come on, try!"
Li Mod revealed a mouthful of black and yellow teeth, looking at Leng Lie provocatively.
This request is reasonable.
Leng Lie felt that he would be letting him down if he didn't grant his wish.
He grabbed his collar, knocked out two of his teeth, and kicked him twice.
"If you dare to hurt my wife again, I'll knock out all your dog teeth."
"And I'll break your legs!"
He shoved him until he stumbled, his expression sinister, his tone icy and harsh.
Li Mod spat out a mouthful of blood, his lips twitching for a long time.
Finally, filled with resentment, he slapped Li Chunhua twice more.
"You filthy bitch, I'll beat you to death!"
Leng Lie narrowed his cold eyes slightly.
Guan Yuxi said in a sweet voice, "Stop! Only a coward hits his wife."
If you want to fight, go home and fight there. Don't dirty my turf.
"Brother Lie, throw him out."
Leng Lie stepped forward, grabbed Li Mod's hand, and slammed it against the wall.
Li Mod cried out incoherently, "Oh dear!"
Li Chunhua stepped forward to stop him, saying, "If you want to hit someone, hit me instead. Don't touch him."
