Li Chunhua clung to the courtyard gate, refusing to let go.
Leng Lie was so angry that the veins on his forehead throbbed.

The sun peeked out from behind the clouds.
Under the warm sunlight, Guan Yuxi looked as if she were coated with a layer of gold.
Her skin was translucent in the sunlight.
Leng Lie was mesmerized by what he saw.
Guan Yuxi opened her arms to welcome the long-awaited warmth.
A gentle breeze, carrying a slight chill, cleared her mind.
Most of the pent-up emotions in their hearts dissipated, and like fallen leaves carried away by the cold winter, they went to where they were meant to go.
"Brother Lie, thank you!"
Her clear black and white pupils now held the dappled light of the sun.
Before Leng Lie could respond, she threw herself into his arms.
Years have passed.
The silvery laughter echoed in his ears once more.
His cold gaze suddenly became moist. "Xiao Xi, it's so good to have you."
I should be thanking you.
He hugged her tightly, as excited as if he had regained a lost treasure.
Guan Yuxi felt a pang of sadness. "What if I weren't me?"
In response, Leng Lie hugged her even tighter.
