When Fang Ziqiang brought his things over, the door of his former home was open, and there was only a bench left in the spacious and empty living room.
Yun Huaying was packing her simple luggage in the room. When she heard footsteps outside, she came out and looked at him with cold and indifferent eyes. She stood at the door of the small bedroom without saying a word.
Fang Ziqiang was filled with hatred when he saw her, but he didn't dare to provoke her now. He threw the cloth bag on the ground and said with a stern face: "The money your mother left behind has been taken away by you. All that's left are these medicinal herbs. They are all here."
Yun Huaying walked over, picked up the cloth bag, and checked it carefully. The number of medicinal herbs matched, but there was no medicine for wounds left by her grandfather.
"Where's the remaining medicine?"
Fang Ziqiang was not surprised that she knew the amount of medicine needed. After all, her grandfather and mother loved her very much and told her everything about the family.
He wouldn't tell her about the other medicine, and answered her with a premeditated excuse: "We've run out. Yun Jinghong dragged my dad off the cliff, but he didn't die instantly. I used two bottles of medicine on him. Then my mom fell and she used another bottle. The one I sold to those two people today was the last one."
Yun Huaying could tell with her toes that he was lying. She looked at him coldly and said, "I don't care whether you really used it or not. You stole and sold the Yun family's things without my permission. I won't let you go."
"Yun Huaying, the medicine has been used, what else do you want?"
Fang Ziqiang usually pays attention to his image, but now he was so angry that he started yelling at her.
His voice was loud, and Yun Huaying's was no less. "You're a thief, you stole things from the Yun family, and you still have the nerve to act so confidently here? Do the county leaders know that you are such a shameless and shameless person?"
The father and daughter were arguing so loudly that many neighbors on the same floor ran out and peeked into their house to watch what was going on.
Seeing his neighbor coming over, Fang Ziqiang said with a dark face: "I'm taking things from my own home. I can take whatever I want."
He was being a scoundrel. Yun Huaying sneered, "Fang Ziqiang, you really are worthy of being the offspring of a dead old woman. You are as shameless a scoundrel as your mother. If you have lost your mind and forgotten what grandpa said before he died, I can now show you his will."
Fang Ziqiang's face was so dark that ink seemed to be dripping out of it. The scene before Old Man Yun's death came to his mind. Before he died, he left everything in the house to Yun Huaying. Even Yun Jinghong only had the right to use it, not to mention him, the son-in-law who married into the family.
When he thought of the contempt he had suffered, and the images of others looking down on him and denigrating him, his body trembled with anger, and he also imitated his mother's broken jar and threw it all away: "It's all used up. I don't have any money, but I have a life."
"I don't want your money. What I want most is your life."
Yun Huaying killed him with just one sentence.
Fang Ziqiang's heart trembled, and his pair of red eyes bulged out in fear.
Seeing that he was frightened, Yun Huaying struck while the iron was hot and threatened him: "Since you don't want this miserable life anymore, I will definitely fulfill your wish."
"Yun Huaying, don't mess around."
The neighbors standing in the corridor outside were afraid that she would go to extremes and drag others to death like her mother, so they rushed in to persuade her.
The room was originally quite empty, but now many neighbors had squeezed in, making it a bit crowded. Seeing everyone talking and trying to persuade her, Yun Huaying had no choice but to express her opinion: "Dear elders, thank you for your concern. I won't do anything stupid. His miserable life is not worth sacrificing my beautiful life for."
"Huaying, calm down. If you have something to say, just say it nicely. Don't be impulsive." Grandma Li Feng tried to persuade her in a loving and gentle manner.
Yun Huaying nodded at her, and looked at Fang Ziqiang with a sharp gaze: "Don't say I'm heartless. I'm giving you two choices now. One, pay for the three bottles of medicine at the normal price. Two, I will send the medicine I have to the Public Security Bureau, and you will cooperate with the Public Security Bureau's investigation starting today."
"I have no money left. You took away all my savings." Fang Ziqiang yelled at her.
Yun Huaying sneered and corrected him, "Fang Ziqiang, you need to understand one thing first. All the money I have belongs to the Yun family. It was left to me by my grandfather and mother. It has nothing to do with you. You've spent all the money you've earned over the years on yourself, four vampires, and those leeches of your Fang family. If I really sue you, you'll have to pay me child support."
"My salary and allowances are only enough for my family, and I have no money left."
Fang Ziqiang forced himself to calm down and made up his mind not to give her any more money. He didn't believe she would really sue him. After all, if he went to jail, her daughter would be implicated. Even if she went to the countryside, she would be subjected to ideological education or punished and criticized.
Seeing that he had calmed down and was no longer as angry as before, Yun Huaying's sneer deepened: "Alright, if you want to act like a rogue, go ahead. I won't pester you to pay it back. However, I, Yun Huaying, am not so easy to shirk. You did it on the first day, and I will do it on the fifteenth day to show you. Just go back and wait. I will give you good news."
Fang Ziqiang's heart skipped a beat. He looked at her with fear and panic, "What are you going to do?"
"I'll give you a gift tomorrow, and another big one the day after tomorrow. For a while, I'll be sending you gifts non-stop. Please digest them well after receiving them. I'm leaving for the countryside tomorrow, so I won't be here to watch the ceremony with you. I sincerely wish you good health and a long life."
After Yun Huaying finished speaking, she turned around and went back to her small bedroom, continuing to slowly pack her simple clothes.
“Crunch…Crunch…”
The only sound in the living room was the cracking of knuckles.
