Because the two of them were moving so fast, when they arrived, Sister Sun's family hadn't even arrived yet!
Qian Huijie's eyes lit up when she saw Qiu Zean coming over. She had been staring at the cafeteria entrance all morning, but Qiu Zean was finally here.
Qian Huijie shouted loudly:
"Ze'an, come and sit here quickly. Why are you so late? Are you too ashamed to come?"
After saying that, Qian Huijie covered her mouth and chuckled to herself:
"Auntie is just joking, you won't take it to heart!"
Zhao's father tricked Qian Huijie into helping him:
"Ze'an, don't take it to heart by arguing with your aunt. She's just too happy today. Quickly find a place to sit down, the feast will start soon!"
Qian Huijie persisted:
"Go away, I'm talking to Ze'an!"
"Ze'an, look how well Feifei and Yuejin match! Yuejin has good taste; he fell for my Feifei at first sight!"
After saying that, Qian Huijie feigned concern and called Wei Yuejin and Zhao Feifei over to her:
"Yuejin, quickly toast Zean. If Zean hadn't been so blind, you wouldn't have had the chance to marry Feifei."
Wei Yuejin obediently poured Qiu Ze'an a glass of wine, raised his glass and said:
"Thank you, Battalion Commander Qiu. If it weren't for your help, Feifei and I wouldn't have met and gotten to know each other here. I'll take this."
With that, Wei Yuejin downed his drink in one gulp, and Zhao Feifei felt very sorry for him.
"Brother Yuejin, slow down, eat a couple of bites of food to calm down, or you'll really drink too much!"
Wei Yuejin gently squeezed Zhao Feifei's hand reassuringly and said boldly:
"It's okay, this little bit of alcohol won't get your man drunk."

Qian Huijie was about to say something more when Zhao's father stopped her and whispered words of advice:
"Alright, this is Feifei's big day, and you've done everything you could. If things get out of hand, do you think your daughter and son-in-law will look good?"
Qian Huijie was unwilling, but Qiu Zean didn't take the bait. If she wanted to make a scene, she had to make it big enough!
Qian Huijie felt contempt for him; she had really misjudged the Qiu family boy. She had thought he was so tough.
After all that effort, he's just a pushover, a coward.
Forget it, forget it. It's no fun picking on a pushover. Qian Huijie glanced at Qiu Ze'an with disdain, then turned and walked away with an air of nonchalance.
Normally, Zhao's father would have already smoothed things over.
However, Qiu Ze'an didn't give him any face, and he didn't want to give Qiu Ze'an any face either. Zhao's father didn't say a word and followed Qian Huijie away.
Song Chunwei clicked his tongue and whispered to Qiu Ze'an:
"These two are really something! I've really learned something new. No wonder Zhao Feifei could do something like that; it seems she comes from a family with those kinds of ways!"
Qiu Zean urged in a low voice:
"There's no need to lower ourselves to their level. Don't forget what we're here for."
How could they forget? They went to great lengths to see this spectacular show. They even borrowed a car from the troupe, paying for their own transportation, just to wait for this moment!
Song Chunwei looked around, pointed to a window seat near the cafeteria entrance, and whispered:
“Let’s sit there. We can watch the show more clearly, and if they really flip the table or smash the bowls, we won’t get hurt.”
Qiu Zean wholeheartedly agreed:
"Let's hurry over there, or it'll be awkward if Sister Sun and her family recognize us first when they come in!"
Song Chunwei craned his neck to look out the window. What was going on with Sister Sun's family? It's been so long, why haven't they come yet!
This is taking too long. Why are you walking so slowly? Why don't you go out now and carry them in?
Lost in thought, Song Chunwei vaguely saw the silhouettes of Sister Sun's family through the window. Excitedly, Song Chunwei tugged at Qiu Ze'an:
"Ze'an, Ze'an, come quickly! Sister Sun and her family are here!"
