Chapter 13 Comrade Gu, You Must Be Strong (2/2)

Feng Mian looked at him with a smile, and pushed the braised beef to the middle of the table, "You eat it, I'm not greedy for it."

"I……"

"It's okay. We have reached a cooperative marriage. We still have a long time to spend together. There's no need to suppress your appetite."

He felt that Feng Mian was very special and different from other girls he knew in the village.

The way she speaks and behaves is a bit like... a bit like a capitalist lady.

Gu Yuelin picked up another piece and chewed it slowly, not eating as fast as before.

Soon another dish was served, the egg soup also came, and Fengmian asked the waiter to bring the rice.

The waiter rolled his eyes, filled two bowls of rice and threw them on the table in displeasure.

It's really a loss. It's like sending a bartender away. It's not an exaggeration at all.

Feng Mian's mouth twitched, and he suddenly remembered something his elders had told him before, saying that some state-owned restaurants in the 1970s and 1980s would post warning signs saying "No beating or scolding of customers allowed"

Look at that face that looks like it cost her twenty-dollar penny. Not to mention that she is really afraid of being beaten up.

Feng Mian didn't say anything, just treated Gu Yuelin to good food and drink.

"How about this, we will cooperate in marriage for three years. In three years, you will be twenty-six, and I won't be able to hold you back."

Gu Yuelin, who was drinking egg yolk soup, was so frightened when he heard her words that he choked and started coughing violently.

Feng Mian hurriedly asked the waiter to bring some paper.

The waiter brought the paper and scolded them both with a sullen face as he handed it to them.

After she left, Feng Mian asked quietly, "Are you okay?"

"Ahem, it's okay. Why is it three years?"

Why three years? Because Feng Mian's family has been doing business since her grandfather's generation, she can be considered a capitalist lady and still remembers the time of open economy.

The first time people were allowed to apply for business licenses was three years later, and the first batch of farmers who moved to the city to work were in the early 1980s.

Once rural people are allowed to work in the city, she and Gu Yuelin can go their separate ways.

"After three years, the mutual redemption ended."

"How do you know?"

How can I explain this to him?

She said: "We will first sign a three-year cooperative marriage agreement. If time is not enough, we can sign the next one."

I can only fool him for now.

Feng Mian took out the contract that he had written last night and pushed it in front of him.

"Do you see any problems? If so, raise them and I'll revise them. If there are no problems, just sign it."

Gu Yuelin looked at her several times while holding the cooperative marriage contract.

Feng Mian smiled but said nothing. He thought that he might be a little shocked. After all, he had even prepared the contract, and he needed time to digest it.

"One bedroom each? You can't step into each other's bedroom?"

"Well, since it's not a cooperative marriage, this is the basic principle."

"But you only have one bedroom, don't you?"

"It's not a big deal. My three thatched houses are quite big. I can just build a wall in the middle to split them in two."

"I can't touch any of your personal belongings without your permission?"

Feng Mian smiled and nodded, "These agreements are made by both parties, and I will not touch your things."

"You're very thoughtful. There's nothing wrong with that."

After reading it, Gu Yuelin took a pen and signed his name.

The contract is made in two copies, and each person keeps one copy.

Gu Yuelin said that it was not convenient for him to keep them in his hands, so he gave both copies to Feng Mian.

Feng Mian accepted them all and was very satisfied with his straightforward attitude.
