Chapter 20 I Want to Hug Princess Elsa (1/2)

The tall and muscular figure of the man slowly stood up and approached her.

Bai Jiaojiao was startled, wondering if she had tried to flatter the horse but ended up hitting its leg.

He picked up Bai Jiaojiao with one hand and threw her casually on the chair next to him.

"Sit here, I'll go cook."

"Okay~" Bai Jiaojiao's eyes lit up instantly.

Taking another careful look at those clear eyes without any impurities, Xiao Zhou felt a little dazed, as if she would always be obedient and stay with him.

She was really stupid and didn't seem to notice that there was something wrong with him recognizing her.

That woman doesn't like braised lion's head, but she likes it, so this is her unique hobby.

He looked at Bai Jiaojiao deeply and went into the kitchen.

Bai Jiaojiao continued to mutter while pounding her legs. As the sky outside gradually darkened, her thoughts drifted away.

She was thinking about the people in Chenjia Village next door. Is that really okay?

But this is something that is not even mentioned in the novel. She speculated deeply, would it lead to a waste of time? And would it wrongly accuse a good person?

But when I think of the looks in those people's eyes, I always feel uncomfortable.

"Xiao Zhou..." Bai Jiaojiao was about to express her guess when Xiao Zhou brought the last dish and the air was filled with the aroma of food.

"The meal is ready."

Two voices sounded at the same time.

When Bai Jiaojiao saw the braised lion head that she had been craving for, she immediately sat down happily.

"What were you about to say?" he asked, his tone unusually gentle.

Bai Jiaojiao picked up the lion's head with chopsticks and said honestly: "There seems to be something wrong with those people in Chenjia Village. I think it has something to do with your father's death."

The man frowned slightly, and suddenly, his expression became extremely panicked.

The chopsticks in Bai Jiaojiao's hand fell onto the table, and her body was becoming transparent.

Everything in front of me shattered like a mirror and dissipated into the air.

She hasn’t eaten her braised lion head yet!

A warm hand slowly stroked her forehead, and the owner of the hand spoke in a very gentle tone.

"Jiaojiao, what did you say? What Chenjia Village?"

It was pitch black in front of her eyes. Bai Jiaojiao opened her eyes dazedly, and her hazy vision gradually became clear.

What caught my eye was a handsome face that was very close to me.

Bai Jiaojiao was so scared that she immediately dodged backwards, but the man held her even tighter. If he hadn't held her firmly and hadn't had great strength in holding her, the back of her head would have nearly hit the bed.

Xiao Zhou sighed helplessly: "Jiaojiao, be careful."

He explained: "How come you are so restless when you sleep now? You can fall off the bed even though it's so big. If I hadn't reacted quickly, you would have fallen to the ground long ago."

Bai Jiaojiao looked around in a daze. This was still Xiaozhou's room, but the bed was covered with a soft mattress and a thick quilt. The person looking at her was no longer the one with hatred in his eyes, but a pair of eyes filled with love and enthusiasm.

This gaze is...

"Xiao Zhou who lost his memory?"

"Hmm?" Xiao Zhou was stunned for a moment, then nodded, "Yes, I lost my memory, but I still love my wife."

“…”Okay, it’s confirmed that she has returned to her original time and space.

She fell into deep thought. She came back just because Chenjia Village was mentioned?

So yeah?

Or does it mean that her guess is correct?
