"I'm not pushing you away, I just want to treat your wound." Bai Jiaojiao looked at his face which was gradually losing color, and coaxed him helplessly: "If you want to hug me later, you can do it later."
The man's pupils trembled, and his deep eyes were filled with confusion: "Really?"
"Um."
"I'm not dreaming?"
"Of course not. If you don't believe me, pinch your face."
Xiaozhou actually raised his hand and pinched his face, quite hard.
There was a red mark on his pale and handsome face, and he blinked.
"It seems real."
Bai Jiaojiao wanted to laugh a little. If she didn’t have a camera, she really wanted to take a picture of him now.
"Can you listen now?"
"Um."
Xiaozhou lowered his eyes. His eyelashes were long, like a palm-leaf fan, and when they fell, he looked very obedient.
Even though Bai Jiaojiao knew that beneath this appearance, there was a sinister and cruel soul, she still subconsciously used gentle movements when treating his wounds, and even felt a little distressed for the injuries on his body.
She wanted to handle it carefully, but it was raining now, so she could only stop the bleeding first: "Can you walk?"
She regretted it after she finished saying it. Xiao Zhou's injuries were much more serious than Fu Zhengyang's. There were traces of neutron bullets on his legs. How could he possibly walk?
But he said: "Yes."
Bai Jiaojiao hesitated: "Are you sure?"
"Sure, I'm not a useless person." Xiao Zhou said, and actually stood up.
His face became even uglier. Bai Jiaojiao quickly supported him and realized that he must have heard it.
"I came to find you, and saving that person is just on the way." Bai Jiaojiao explained quickly.
"I know, I heard you calling me." Xiao Zhou said softly.
The two men passed by the place where the bomb exploded, close to him.
Not long ago, it seemed as if this bomb exploded and Fu Zhengyang hugged her.
Bai Jiaojiao was struggling over whether to say it or not, but Xiaozhou said nothing and led her forward, as if he knew nothing.
Bai Jiaojiao felt even more guilty, even though she felt she had done nothing wrong.
From now on, I have to stay away from the male protagonist, she thought to herself.
The rain was still falling, but Bai Jiaojiao didn't get wet much because Xiao Zhou was too big. She stroked his arm, and the man slightly raised his hand, which was almost the same size as her face, and easily blocked most of the rain for her.
It was not easy to leave the camp, and Xiaozhou did not fall down. Bai Jiaojiao quickly treated his injuries.
Xiaozhou finally fell asleep, or to be more precise, he fainted.
"My God, he walked here on his own with such a serious injury." The doctor passing by was shocked. Seeing Bai Jiaojiao skillfully removing the bullet, he was even more shocked: "Where did you come from, doctor?"
"Doctor Li Wanxin brought me here." Bai Jiaojiao said.
"Oh, Dr. Li from Beijing, your medical skills are really good, your bandaging technique is very skillful, and you look so young. You have a bright future." The doctor praised.
Bai Jiaojiao didn't mean to say that she planned to lie down, so she just nodded and asked if she could change her clothes. The doctor immediately pointed her to a place.
For convenience, Bai Jiaojiao took a set of medical staff's clothes and also got a set of clean clothes for Xiao Zhou to change into.
The clothes he came to wear had long been cut open by her with scissors, leaving only bandages wrapped around them. Bai Jiaojiao urged him to change his clothes quickly.
Just as she was about to take a break, a few more wounded were carried in. Seeing that the medical staff were too busy to handle it, she hesitated for a moment, but still went over to help.
