After Lin Sisi returned home, she told Gu's mother that she was going to pick mushrooms on the mountain that afternoon.
Mother Gu also wanted to go, saying, "I've been here for two or three days, and I haven't really explored much yet. No matter how nice the city is, it's not as good as our Jinshi. I'll go for a walk in the mountains."

Gu's mother and Lin Sisi probably knew it wasn't safe after dark, so they didn't disagree with Lin Qingyan.
Yang Qiuyue picked the fewest mushrooms, and she was still reluctant to leave.
But since everyone else agreed to leave, she had no reason to stay.
Just then, she suddenly noticed a large patch of mushrooms beside her.
She called to the other three, "Look, there are still a lot of mushrooms here. Let's pick them all before we go down the mountain."
She immediately went over there to pick mushrooms, and Lin Sisi and Gu's mother followed. Zhang's wife looked at Lin Qingyan.
