Their eyes were glazed over, and the two boys were still lying on the ground fast asleep, likely drugged by the traffickers.
Lin Qingyan saw the trafficker take Sanya out of the sack. "Although she is a girl, she is pretty. If any family needs a girl or a child bride, she can still fetch a good price."
They put Sanya on the ground, and the two big men immediately tied her up. Sanya struggled hard, but she was too small and it was no use.
With a rag stuffed in his mouth, his little face was streaked with tears.
Lin Qingyan often held and played with her, and seeing the child suffering now, her heart ached.
She needed to rescue Sanya as soon as possible.
No, besides saving Sanya, she also needs to save the two girls and two boys. She also needs to subdue the four human traffickers and hand them over to the police so that they will never have the chance to evade justice and traffic people again.
She went outside and quickly pulled out a sturdy table leg from a pile of table and chair legs in the storage space. These table and chair legs were ones she had bought from the junkyard last time. She had checked them and found no hidden items inside; they were only good for starting a fire. Since she always used a coal stove for cooking at home, she hadn't taken them out, but today they unexpectedly came in handy.
Taking advantage of the four men's momentary lapse in attention, she swung the table leg and walked in. She first smashed two of the men with the table leg, knocking the one with the pointed mouth and monkey-like face unconscious. The square-faced man was hit in the leg and knelt on the ground, basically losing his ability to fight back.
The other two fierce ones dodged quickly and weren't hit, but they couldn't escape being taught a lesson by her either.
These two burly men were caught off guard by a sudden attack. Although the attacker was a woman, they could tell she was quite capable, so they dared not let their guard down.
They tried to subdue Lin Qingyan together, but they were no match for her. Lin Qingyan was not only skilled in martial arts, but also had the advantage of weapons, and she quickly took them both down.
Lin Qingyan glanced at them sideways and waved the table leg in her hand. "I thought you two were strong, but you're just two pieces of trash."
To prevent the four from escaping, he slashed each of them on the back of the neck with a hand chop, rendering all four traffickers unconscious.
She first removed the rag from Sanya's mouth, and Sanya immediately burst into tears.
"Waaaaah, waaaaah."
Lin Qingyan hugged her, untying the ropes binding her while comforting her, "Sanya, don't be afraid, Auntie has already subdued the bad guy, don't cry, don't cry."
Lin Qingyan took out a piece of candy from her pocket, unwrapped it, and put it in Sanya's mouth. After eating the candy, Sanya's crying gradually subsided and eventually stopped.
Lin Qingyan placed it on the chair and helped her sit down.
"Sanya will wait here for her aunt. Aunt will go and rescue the other brothers and sisters."
Sanya nodded and hummed in agreement. Lin Qingyan then left, leaving the others behind.
She untied the two girls, removed the rags from their mouths, and the girls, overjoyed at being free, thanked her repeatedly.
Lin Qingyan then untied the two boys. Because they had been given drugs, the boys remained unconscious after being untied and continued to lie on the ground.
Lin Qingyan reached out and checked their breathing. She found that they were breathing steadily and were fine. Since she did not have any special antidote on her, she could not help them break the sedative, so she let them continue to sleep.
She used all the ropes she had taken from the four people to tie the human trafficker tightly around his body, so that even if he woke up, he wouldn't be able to escape.
Lin Qingyan didn't know if Yang Qiuyue and Aunt Zhang could find this place, so she couldn't leave yet.
First, he had to keep an eye on the four human traffickers and prevent them from escaping.
Secondly, the two children who had been drugged were still asleep, and if she left to report to the police, the children might be in danger again.
She instructed the two young women, "I'll stay here and watch the traffickers and those two children. One of you go to the police station to report this and have the police come and take them away."
Both girls said they could report the case to the police station. They had both been persecuted by human traffickers and naturally hoped that the traffickers would receive the punishment they deserved.
“Okay, then you can go. Also, if you see two women looking for their children on the road, tell them that my child and I are here and that they should come here to find us. My name is Lin Qingyan, please tell them that name.”
The two young women agreed and left.
Half an hour later, Yang Qiuyue and Sister Zhang finally found the place.
Yang Qiuyue was already crying uncontrollably. When she saw Sanya, she quickly hugged her.
"Sanya, it's all my fault. I didn't protect you well." Then she turned to Lin Qingyan and said, "Qingyan, I owe you so much this time. If it weren't for you, I really can't imagine what the consequences would have been."
"Sister-in-law, did the two girls tell you how you found this place?"
“Yes, yes, they told us that you and Sanya are both here, and they are going to report it to the police,” Zhang’s wife replied.
Lin Qingyan nodded, "Then let's wait a little longer. If the police don't come soon, you can report it to the police again."
"OK."
Less than twenty minutes after they finished their discussion, the sound of a car engine came from behind them, and then four police officers walked in. The one in the lead was Captain Liu of the Municipal Public Security Bureau's District Security Team.
Captain Liu saw the four human traffickers who had fainted on the ground, as well as the two sleeping children. He then looked at Lin Qingyan, Yang Qiuyue, and Sister Zhang and asked, "Which of you is Comrade Lin Qingyan?"
