Lu Zhengting noticed that the man looked very similar to his wife, and appeared to be in his forties.
He immediately thought of Lin Heping.
He heard from his wife that Lin Heping had been sent to prison long ago and wouldn't be out anytime soon. Could it be that the other party had gotten out of prison early through special means?
Although this man and his wife are biological father and daughter, they are practically enemies. His own family doesn't know him, so what is he doing here? He must be here to see his wife.
Lin Hejiang smiled at him, "You must be Qingyan's boyfriend, Zhengting, right?"
Seeing the other person's "amiable" smile, Lu Zhengting subconsciously felt that the other person's visit to see his wife was not for anything good.
His face was expressionless as he asked the other person, "Excuse me, who are you?"
“I am Qingyan’s father, which means I am your father-in-law.”

But when she reached the door and saw Lin and Jiang standing outside, she was instantly stunned.
The man outside was still smiling at her, but she couldn't help but feel her anger flaring up.
Those memories from when she was still living in the Lin family resurfaced in her mind.
A chill ran through her eyes as she coldly stared at Lin Hejiang: "Lin Heping, I don't care how you got out. I've severed all ties with you. If you're here to see me, I ask you to leave immediately. If you've come to the Lu family for something else..." She glanced at Lu Zhengting: "You can entertain him if you want, but I won't pay him any attention."
Lu Zhengting continued to shoo Lin Hejiang away: "You can leave now, my wife doesn't want to see you."
Lin Hejiang knew this would be the outcome, but he wasn't Lin Heping.
Despite being chased away by Lin Qingyan and Lu Zhengting, he still smiled and said, "You've misunderstood. I'm not Lin Heping. I'm his twin brother, Lin Hejiang, and I'm Qingyan's real biological father."
"What?!"
Upon hearing his words, Lin Qingyan and Lu Zhengting both froze on the spot.
Lin Qingyan looked at him in disbelief, her shock evident in her eyes.
Lu Zhengting reacted a little earlier than her, grabbed her hand, and pulled her into his arms: "Wife."
It took Lin Qingyan a while to come to her senses. She tried to calm herself down and said to Lin Hejiang, "Why don't you come in and tell me what happened?"
"Okay, okay." Lin Hejiang said as he walked inside, "Qingyan, Dad has been unable to be by your side to take care of you. I thought that when you saw Dad, you would ignore me and kick me out. I didn't expect my daughter to be so kind as to let me in."
"Stop talking nonsense. Explain what exactly happened back then. Although I've severed ties with Lin Heping, he was still my father. What about you?"
When Lu's mother saw a middle-aged man who looked similar to Lin Qingyan, she was also a little shocked. She seemed to have heard them talking about fathers. Could this man be Lin Qingyan's biological father?
She knew that Lin Qingyan's former father was Lin Heping, who was already in prison. If this was Lin Qingyan's real father, shouldn't she treat him well?

She walked up to Lin Qingyan and asked, "Qingyan, is he really your father?"

Lin Qingyan looked at Lin Hejiang again: "You really do look exactly like Lin Heping. I don't think my mother would do something like incest. Please tell me the details of what happened back then."
"You can sit down first," Mrs. Lu said to Lin and Jiang, pointing to the sofa in the living room.
"Thanks."
Lin Hejiang was about to sit down when he suddenly saw that Lin Qingyan was still standing, so he quickly asked Lin Qingyan to sit down first.
"Qingyan, please sit down first."
"This is my home, you don't need to be so polite with me."
After she finished speaking, she sat down on the sofa behind her.
Lin Hejiang also sat down, and he sighed heavily with his head down: "To be honest, I really don't know how to bring this up with you."
Lin Qingyan's heart skipped a beat. Could it really be what he thought?
