Chapter Seventy: I'm Going to Hit You
Yu Xiaolin was scolded and grimaced as he looked at Shen Yuzhu's back. He had been waiting there for almost two hours and thought that his smile and words were very kind.
I can't believe it. The kind-hearted and good-tempered Shen Zhiqing, as described by the commune members, started cursing people, and he did so in such a rude and vulgar way.
He must have just not performed well today, otherwise, how could any woman escape his charm?
After comforting himself with these words, he carried the firewood back to the educated youth settlement.
"Xiaolin, why are you so late? Where did you go?"
Yu Xiaolin paused, glanced at Xia Zhenzhen who came out of the house wearing a coat, blinked and said, "Oh, I went to collect firewood. You were complaining of being cold today, so tomorrow you should boil some water and soak your feet to warm up."

Seeing this, Liang Manxiu, who was dressed and ready to go up the mountain at the educated youth settlement, went back into the house and called out to Qiao Wangshu. She then turned around and ran towards Shen Yuzhu's courtyard, helped lock the door and take out the key, and then ran towards Shen Yuming's house.
Shen Yuming was held in Sun Fenglan's arms, with several children in front of him whose eyes were red from crying.
"Aunt Zhang, you're so old now. You used to be the best to Yuming, but now you're coming over here kicking and hitting her. What's wrong with you?"
Sun Fenglan glared fiercely at Granny Zhang, who remained unfazed, her hair disheveled, and she clenched her teeth as she roared at Shen Yuming.
“I only hate that I was too good to her back then, which made my Zhang family unable to make a living. My son can’t go home. I finally found a companion, but she won’t let me live in peace. She deserves to die.”
As he was about to step forward again, Shen Yuming raised his hands to avoid him.
Remembering the good times they had shared, she didn't lay a hand on Granny Zhang. But when she saw Granny Zhang about to attack again, she quickly protected herself.
"Stop! Try touching my sister again!"
Granny Zhang ignored Shen Yuzhu completely and went up to grab Shen Yuming's hair, but before she got close, she felt a pain on her scalp, stumbled, and fell on her bottom.
Suddenly, my tailbone went numb.
Fortunately, the weather is cold now and she is wearing thick clothes, otherwise she might have broken her back. She came because of her status as an elder, so when Shen Yuzhu pulled her to the ground, she didn't react for a while.
Not to mention her, even Sun Fenglan, who was closely protecting Shen Yuming, never expected that this delicate girl would be so frightening when she got angry.

She was making a scene when the Chang family arrived.

Even the children in the family didn't receive the same treatment as her.

When they looked at Granny Zhang, their eyes were filled with wariness and fear. The youngest daughter-in-law of the Chang family subconsciously hugged her little girl.
Although they wanted the old man to have a job so that their family could live a better life, they would never trade their children for it.
Since arriving at the Chang family, Granny Zhang had always been pampered. After all this time, she couldn't let anyone ruin her good life, so after finding out the reason, she quickly explained the situation.
It wasn't that she didn't want her granddaughter; it was that she had saved the child and couldn't bear to see her son commit such a terrible act, so she gave the child away.
After hearing the whole story, the Chang family members' expressions softened considerably.
But she couldn't swallow this insult. The child had been given away three years ago, and now she wanted to go back to the middleman. Wasn't that a slap in the face to the middleman?
