Chapter Ten: Severing Ties
Upon hearing Shen Yuzhu's words, Zhou Congsheng immediately turned his head away; he was a man of great virtue.
Coincidentally, Lu Jiahao had just returned from the hospital after an afternoon of treatment. Zhong Fu, Shen Yuxia, and Shen Yukun, who hadn't had a proper rest for a day and a night, rushed in after hearing the screams from inside.
This sight was quite alarming. Lu Jiahao was so angry he almost fainted again. Zhong Fu and Shen Yuxia weren't so lucky. They were already exhausted. When they saw the house was empty and their belongings fell out of the thief's arms, they rolled their eyes and fainted on the ground.
Shen Yukun quickly squatted down and hugged Zhong Fu and Shen Yuxia in his arms, calling out to them with heartache, trying to wake them up. So many things had happened at home in the past two days, and he was overwhelmed with worry. The fifteen-year-old boy was already in a state of panic.
"What, what's going on?"
In the past, Shen Yuzhu would have definitely put on a good show, but now that Zhou Congsheng was injured, she was very worried and just wanted to get him to the hospital to have his wounds bandaged as soon as possible.

Zhou Congsheng asked weakly, but Shen Yuzhu didn't answer, only gently shaking her head.
Of course I hate it, but a cunning rabbit has three burrows. Tonight, Lü Jiahao will definitely use that money to book a room for Zhong Funiang and the others, and secretly go to hide other treasures.
