......
The dusk is like blood.
A small restaurant located in an alley.
The few customers in the store made the boss seem a little bored.
In the dim light at the door, a familiar figure suddenly walked slowly into the store.
The man seemed to have some problem with his left leg, and his beard, which had not been trimmed for many days, made him look extremely haggard.
Seeing the person coming, the owner stood up quickly.
"Ah Jin, what are you having for dinner today? The same old three things? I haven't seen you for half a month, how come your legs are still so..."
Ah Jin, who was about forty or so, gave a wry smile.
"I'm afraid he won't be able to recover this time. The doctor said he'll be completely crippled from now on."
The owner seemed a little angry that he didn't fight back.
"What are you saying? You've been a martial artist for so many years, and you've been injured more seriously than this many times. How could you not be healed?"
A Jin found a seat and sat down. He didn't answer the owner, but just stared at the table without saying a word.
The owner has already started cooking for him, the same three dishes that Ajin always ordered.
A few minutes after the dish was put into the pot, the owner thought of something else.
"So what are you going to do next? What will the boss say? What's the company saying? After all, you're acting as a stand-in for their top star."
A Jin came back to his senses and let out a long sigh.
"My boss gave me some money for my retirement, but the company said it was clearly written in the contract and that it was just a few extra months of salary..."
Hearing the owner's friend banging the spatula loudly in dissatisfaction, Ajin smiled, but there was a hint of bitterness in his smile.
"Most people in our profession end up like this. After decades of practicing martial arts, we haven't made much money, but instead have accumulated a lot of old injuries."
"Adong, I'm having a retirement party in three days. I'd like to book three, no,...one table at your place."
"One table?"
The shop owner became indignant again.
"You have so many fellow disciples and apprentices, is one table enough?"
"That's enough."
