Chapter 29 is now open for business!

"Boss lady, are those bell-bottoms really the latest style?"

At the stall in the very center, a fashionable young woman in her early twenties was holding a pair of bell-bottoms and asking the owner a question.

Zhuo Hongxia, wearing brown sunglasses, nodded repeatedly.

"How could it be fake? I just brought it back from Guangzhou by train last month after a three-day trip!"

Her scarlet fingernails dug heavily into the trouser leg. "Look at these trouser legs! All the others are so narrow and tight, none of them have the generous and stylish cut of mine!"

He leaned forward, almost touching the girl's shoulder, and said, "With those long legs of yours, you'd definitely turn heads all over the street if you wore those!"

The girl turned the pants inside out and examined them several times, her brows furrowing slightly.

"The color is quite trendy, but the style feels similar to my black one. Never mind, I'll go check out the store behind here."

She only has twenty yuan left for living expenses this month, so she can choose whether or not to buy these pants.

"Why!"

Zhuo Hongxia reached out and grabbed the girl's sleeve, her sunglasses slipped down to the tip of her nose, and her eyes glanced intentionally or unintentionally at the stalls behind her, her face full of slyness.

"You don't know this, do you? All the items she has are defective products from the stalls. They'll come undone after a short time. They can't compare to my stuff!"

He then lowered his voice.

"Okay, if you really want it, I'll give you the lowest price! Eight yuan and eighty cents! It's definitely cheaper than what she has there, go and ask if you don't believe me!"

"No need to ask, I just came from there, I've already asked, the lowest price is nine yuan."

The girl looked at the stall with obvious displeasure, and was too lazy to browse anymore. She looked down at the pants again, and finally pouted.

"Fine, fine, I'll buy it from you!"

Zhuo Hongxia's mouth immediately stretched to her ears, and she shook open the plastic bag with a whoosh.

"Alright! I'll install it for you right away!"

"Don't worry! I'll definitely sell it at the lowest price in this area! You can save two cents, enough to buy an ice pop!"

The little girl took out her wallet and was about to take out money when she was suddenly tapped lightly on the shoulder.

Turning my head, I saw a tall, slender woman who blushed and pointed to the ground: "You dropped your handkerchief."

"Thanks."

The girl quickly turned around to pick it up, and as she turned, she saw the tassels on the woman's trouser hem, and her eyes were instantly drawn to them.

The same flared pants style, but adorned with layers of beige silk threads, revealing a glimpse of lace trim as one walks.

Exquisite and beautiful.

She'd never seen this style before, not even when she went to department stores!

She was instantly captivated and grabbed the woman's arm, asking her questions with great enthusiasm.

"Pretty lady, your flared pants are so nice, where did you buy them?"

The woman was startled by her enthusiasm and instinctively wanted to shrink back, but she still forced herself to remain calm and pointed to a small stall with a sign hanging not far away.

"Girl! Your pants! Eight yuan and eighty cents!"

"Sorry, I don't want it!"

Zhuo Hongxia's hand, holding the bag, froze in mid-air as she watched the girl run away without looking back.

"Boss, do you still have these flared pants with lace?"

The girl stood in front of Zhou Qiqi's stall, her fingers nervously twisting the hem of her clothes.

"have!"

Zhou Qiqi pointed to the neatly arranged bell-bottoms on the stall, "Pick whatever you like."

Without the slightest hesitation, the little girl picked out a blue lace patchwork design and immediately asked how much it cost.

Zhou Qiqi pointed to the small print on the sign and answered crisply, "Ten yuan! No bargaining!"

The little girl pulled out a ten-yuan note without hesitation.

Even though I only have twenty yuan left for living expenses this month, I still have to buy clothes I like.

At worst, we can just eat steamed buns and pickled vegetables for the remaining two weeks.

Seeing how readily she agreed, Zhou Qiqi immediately smiled.

"You're our first customer today, so we'll give you a 12% discount! Plus, we'll throw in a free hair tie!"

As she spoke, she took out a large scrunchie, also made of blue lace, to match the wide-leg pants.

This made the little girl very happy; she felt like she had gotten a great deal.

Just as I paid, two women in their thirties came over; they were there to buy batwing shirts.

I had just been wandering around Zhuo Hongxia's place when I spotted the dress Zhu Yingying was wearing.

"With these sleeves rolled up a little, it's much more convenient to work with them, and it also makes my arms look slimmer!"

I held one of the slightly chubby ones in my hand and loved it dearly.

Her companion quickly nudged her, frowning and saying with a look of disgust.

"It's just so-so, old-fashioned, all solid colors. Look at the ones other people have, so bright and colorful, they look so much better..."

She said that, but she kept clutching the clothes tightly in her hands, as if afraid that someone else would take a liking to them.

Zhou Qiqi was both amused and exasperated.

"Sister, you don't need to say that. I don't negotiate prices here. Everyone pays the same price. If you buy something, I can give each of you a hair tie that I made myself. There aren't many left."

"Not even a little bit cheaper?"

The woman clearly didn't believe her, and her brows furrowed even more.

Seeing that Zhou Qiqi wouldn't budge, he put down the clothes and grabbed his companion without hesitation, and left.

Zhou Qiqi didn't try to stop her, and instead lowered her head to tidy up the stall.

Before they had gone far, three female students with ponytails gathered around them, chattering away.

They all came from Zhuo Hongxia's stall.

"This batwing sweater is so convenient for taking notes in class!"

"They even give away hair ties? That's such a great deal!"

Without saying a word, the three of them took out their change, grabbed their clothes, and ran off chattering away.

Three batwing shirts are gone, and the bag for hair ties is almost empty, with only two left.

Zhou Qiqi was introducing the new guests when the two women who had left earlier suddenly returned, hurriedly throwing out two ten-yuan bills.

"We want those two batwing shirts! We were here first! Please save the hair ties for us!"

Zhou Qiqi suppressed a laugh and pulled out another bulging cloth bag from the snakeskin bag.

"Plenty of food, take whatever you like."

The bag was full, and there were more than a dozen hair ties in various colors and patterns.

"You little rascal..."

The two women were both amused and exasperated, feeling as if they had been tricked.

But looking at Zhou Qiqi's smiling face, he couldn't bring himself to be angry, so he squatted down and started picking out his hair tie.

Zhou Qiqi makes hair ties in various floral and lace designs, as well as velvet ones, catering to customers of all ages.

This hair tie has a novel design; if it were in a department store, it would cost at least a dollar.

The two women picked out two burgundy velvet items and happily carried the bags away.

Zhou Qiqi was packing her things when she heard a series of menacing footsteps.

Looking up, I saw it was Zhuo Hongxia.

With her hands on her hips and sunglasses tilted to her face, she pointed at Zhu Yingying not far away and began to interrogate her.

"I knew it! So many groups of people were looking around but then decided not to buy anything. Turns out you guys were the ones causing trouble!"
