"Qiqi".
Shen Huaichuan's deep voice interrupted her, without any displeasure, but rather with a tenderness that made her heart tremble.
He stepped forward, gently placed the small bag on the bedside table, and then reached out his warm hand to envelop her slightly cold hand, which was made by nervousness.
“Look at me.”
His voice wasn't loud, but it carried an undeniable power.
Zhou Qiqi's eyelashes trembled twice, and she slowly raised her eyes, only to meet his unfathomable gaze.
The room was lit by a warm yellow light, which shone into his pupils, making them look like two calm pools of water, capable of holding all his anxious thoughts.
"You don't need to explain so much."
He gently stroked the back of her hand with the pad of his thumb, the rough touch sending shivers down her spine.

Zhou Qiqi was slightly taken aback.
Shen Huaichuan leaned down slightly, getting closer to her. His warm breath brushed against the stray hairs on her forehead, and his voice was deep and solemn, each word striking her heart.
"I've said it before, it's all up to you. You're in charge of this family, and I respect all your decisions."
His gaze was focused and tender, as if he could see through the deeper unease behind her words.
"Child, whether you want to have children, and when you want to have them, is entirely up to you. If you don't want to have them now, then we won't. It's okay if we never have children in our lives."
He paused, his gaze passing over her to look in the direction of Zhouzhou's room, a faint smile appearing on his lips, his tone becoming even gentler yet firm.
“We have Zhouzhou now, she is our daughter. With you and Zhouzhou by my side, this family is complete and perfect for me, and that’s enough.”
This is not perfunctory or accommodating; it is a heartfelt recognition and commitment.
A powerful surge of warmth and bittersweetness instantly overwhelmed Zhou Qiqi's emotional dam.
She didn't expect him to accept it so easily, and even more thoughtfully and considerately than she had imagined.
While she was taking a shower, she kept thinking about all sorts of possibilities, and how she would have to go to great lengths to persuade and win over her.
But it turned out that he had already been standing behind her all along, unconditionally supporting her.
Zhou Qiqi's eyes instantly reddened. She opened her mouth, but only managed to utter a choked syllable: "Huaichuan, I..."
Shen Huaichuan didn't let her continue.
He cupped her face in his hands, gently wiping away the slight moisture from the corner of her eyes with his fingertips, then lowered his head and kissed her lips.
The lips began with extreme gentleness, carrying a soothing meaning, lightly pecking at her lips.

He tightened his arms around her, holding her firmly in his embrace.

His kiss became deep and forceful, with a domineering, conquering quality. His tongue pried open her defenses, drawing in her breath, exchanging intense breaths.

Shen Huaichuan's palms were calloused, and the tingling, itchy sensation felt like an electric shock.
Zhou Qiqi's body involuntarily arched up, pressing closer to him.
Just as she was feeling dizzy and disoriented, the room suddenly went dark with a "snap".
Zhou Qiqi was startled and frantically reached out to the side, finally touching the metal clock.

Zhou Qiqi felt her body burning from the flames in his eyes, but her competitive spirit also flared up. She tilted her head back, looked him up and down in the moonlight, and deliberately dragged out her voice.
