Gu Lingxiao returned quickly, with a full kettle on the table, and a washed apple for each of them.
Lu Zhixia munched on the apple, the sweetness making her feel much better. She was going to see the doctor tomorrow, but she was a little nervous.
She was afraid the doctor would tell her she knew nothing, or give her a clue she couldn't find.
"Rest for a while if you're tired after eating," Gu Lingxiao said.
"Okay, I'm tired and I'll take a nap. If you want to go see that friend, go ahead!" Lu Zhixia said.
"No rush, we'll go later." Gu Lingxiao checked his watch; there was still more than an hour until noon, so they could just grab a bite at a restaurant.
"Do you want to come to the restaurant with me later?"
Lu Zhixia took a big gulp of water, swallowed it, and then said,
"I'm not going. I have some flatbread and salted duck eggs that Sister Lan brought me. I'll eat them first."
Gu Lingxiao didn't press the matter and immediately said, "Okay, I'll see what delicious food I can bring you."
"No need, just enjoy your meal." Lu Zhixia didn't want to waste money. Sometimes money should be spent, and sometimes it should be saved.

“Go ahead! I’ll keep an eye on things,” Zhuang Ran said readily.
"Thank you!" Gu Lingxiao replied politely.
Zhuang Ran was in a good mood; this handsome young man had a rather pleasant voice.
"Don't be shy, we should help each other when we're traveling."
Gu Lingxiao left the sleeper car and found Fu Yanlin according to the location on the ticket, then went to the dining car with him.
We ordered one meat dish and one vegetable dish, a bowl of rice for each person, and a small bottle of baijiu (Chinese liquor).
Fu Yanlin unscrewed the bottle cap. "I like to have a couple of drinks. I know you don't, but I won't force you!"
Gu Lingxiao clinked glasses with him using his soup bowl, "What are you doing in Nandu!"
Fu Yanlin took a sip of the wine; the refreshing taste left him wanting more.
"I'm going to see my sister. She just had a baby. I'm going to check on her."
"So you're going to the obstetrics and gynecology hospital?"
"yes!"
"The Fourth Hospital?"
“Yeah! Don’t tell me you’re going too?” Fu Yanlin laughed uncontrollably after saying that. “What a coincidence.”
Gu Lingxiao felt that having acquaintances would make things easier, so he said, "Let's go to the Fourth Hospital too, if we can ask one of the doctors there for some advice."
"What a coincidence!" Fu Yanlin exclaimed. "We met more than three years ago, and we haven't run into each other since. I couldn't contact you either. Now we've bumped into each other on the bus, and we're even going to the same place!"

Those people looked away and continued eating, thinking that this man was a bit crazy, not even considering the occasion, and even slamming the table.
Fu Yanlin leaned closer to Gu Lingxiao and said, "To be honest, the doctor who delivered my sister's baby was named Ma Jianguo. What a coincidence!"
Gu Lingxiao thought the same thing. "Then I'll leave the rest to you, brother. We need to see this Dr. Ma about something."
“No problem, leave it to me. That doctor surnamed Ma has been friends with my sister’s mother-in-law for over ten years. He’ll definitely help you with anything he can!” Fu Yanlin poured himself another glass of wine. “It’s fate that we met, which means you can definitely get this done!”
I wondered if they were going to see a doctor, otherwise why would they go to the hospital?

They drank some more wine until the bottles were empty.
Gu Lingxiao then escorted Fu Yanlin back to his sleeper car and instructed the people in his car to keep an eye on him and to call him if anything happened.
After taking care of everything, I returned to my sleeper berth with the takeout lunchbox and saw that Lu Zhixia was already awake and sitting on the bed eating an egg.
The woman on the upper bunk was also eating an egg, with a piece of pancake in her left hand.
