"If you ask me, the boss did the right thing. His whole family wanted to monopolize the boss's family and leech off them. They're absolutely wicked!"
After a moment of deep reflection, an old man in the crowd gently touched the people next to him with his cane, and they made way for him.
This secret has been buried in his heart for nearly 40 years, and it's time to tell it.
Seeing her youngest son beaten unconscious, Old Lady Ma angrily said to her eldest son, "You madman! You murderer! If anything happens to your brother, I'll make sure you go to jail and never get out!"

The old patriarch waved his hand, "You're too late to say that." Turning to face the crowd, he said, "Actually, I was referring to Zhou Cheng, not anyone from the Zhou family!"
Everyone was stunned by these words.
If someone else had said these words, they wouldn't have believed them, but since they were spoken by a highly respected elder, they couldn't help but believe them.
Lu Zhixia looked at the old man in front of her. He was very thin, probably weighing only seventy or eighty pounds. He wasn't very tall, but his eyes were very bright. Judging from his age, he was at least over 80 years old.
Zhou Cheng realized what was happening and quickly asked his grandfather, the clan chief, "Then whose family am I from?"

The old clan chief said, "How can you say such a thing? You raised the child because there was some money in the package."

"Don't say that. If I hadn't raised him back then, he would have starved to death. What good is money if you don't have it?" Old Mrs. Ma said shamelessly. "So I am his mother, and that will never change. Besides, he has taken our surname, Zhou!"
The old patriarch tapped the ground with his cane. "I've seen shamelessness, but I've never seen anyone as shameless as you! Ma Zhoushi, if there weren't no clan rules now, I would expel you from the clan right now!"
In the past, if someone was expelled from their clan, they would have no money, no house, and no one, which meant they would starve to death outside!
Ignoring her youngest son lying unconscious on the ground, Old Lady Ma stared at the group of people before her.
"I'm already this old, do you want to force me to my death?"
The old clan chief was furious and kept coughing. He was now truly regretting why he had let this woman support Zhou Cheng back then.
