"I told you to go out and get some food, why did you come back empty-handed!" Ding Xueqing said fiercely.
"How am I supposed to cook?" Song Lingling demanded.
Ding Xueqing looked at Song Lingling with disdain.
"Go up to the third floor and someone will give you food."
Song Lingling shoved the man to the ground. She had been caught off guard and slapped him earlier, but she wouldn't do that now. The man's leg wouldn't heal anytime soon, so he was practically useless now.
"You mean you want me to sell myself to them in exchange for food?"
"You bitch, how dare you push me!" Ding Xueqing winced in pain and struggled to get up, only to see Song Lingling walking over with her crutches. Her imposing manner was intimidating, and he involuntarily backed away with his palms. His leg disability prevented him from standing up immediately.
