"Really? You think so too?" Lin Hongzhi said.
The security guard then realized that what he had said earlier was inappropriate and quickly corrected himself.
"I was just saying it offhand, factory manager, please don't take it seriously!"
Lin Hongzhi glanced at him but didn't say anything more. However, those words felt like a thorn stuck in his heart. He felt uncomfortable the moment he saw his son.
When Tong Shujia saw her husband arrive, she quickly went over to him.
Have you gone to see your daughter?
Lin Hongzhi: "I haven't gone to see it yet. I submitted the application yesterday, and I should be able to see it today. Come with me!"
Seeing that he didn't even smile, Tong Shujia started to get angry. This scoundrel, he claimed that he lived in the factory for a long time for the sake of his career.
She knew exactly what was going on.
It's because he can't let go of his sister; he thinks of her when he's around her.
Later, she came to terms with it. There are plenty of men with two legs on the street. Isn't that what relationships between men and women are all about? So she hasn't been idle all these years. She's had one man after another, as long as they make her happy.
And she didn't let anyone outside know that her two children weren't Lin Hongzhi's. Who told him to be so clueless about romance, leaving her a widow at such a young age?

She opened the mirror to check her makeup. Fortunately, she had only sweated a little and her makeup hadn't smudged. She just needed to touch up her powder. She wiped it with a powder puff to make sure it was done before closing the mirror.
Lin Hongzhi looked at the pretentious woman and felt utterly annoyed.
"Are you done yet?"
"Alright, you can go now." Tong Shujia looked around and, seeing no cars nearby,
"What do you mean? Are we going to take the bus?"
"We don't have a car today, so we'll have to take the bus," Lin Hongzhi said irritably. "Or you could take a taxi!"
Tong Shujia naturally chose the most comfortable option, "Then let's take a taxi." Turning to her son, she instructed, "Go to the intersection and flag down a car!"
In order to get his mother's money, Lin Xiaoyi had no choice but to eagerly flag down a car.
This place is quite remote and it's not easy to get a taxi, so I stood by the roadside for more than ten minutes.
Lin Hongzhi glanced at his watch and felt it was a waste of time, so he said to them...
"Go to the right, the bus stop is at the intersection ahead. Buses run about every 20 minutes, and it's the starting station, so you can get a seat as soon as you get on. Instead of waiting for the bus at the intersection, you might as well take the bus!"
Tong Shujia was so hot that she could only say, "Okay, I know, I'm going to take the bus!"
So they turned around and walked towards the bus stop. After walking for about four or five minutes, they finally arrived at the stop, and just then a bus came by, so they got on.
The bus had barely started moving when two empty taxis drove past, which infuriated Tong Shujia. She pointed at the direction the drivers had gone.
"Serves you right for being poor and never making money!"
The driver glanced at her and thought the woman was crazy. What had the drivers of the sports cars outside done to offend her?
After a bumpy ride, we finally arrived near the law enforcement office.
Lin Hongzhi noticed that Tong Shujia's makeup had been smudged by the wind and looked a bit scary because she had applied too much foundation.
They fell off in chunks, revealing dark spots on the skin. I only glanced at them and didn't look a second time.
"You can get off now!"
When Tong Shujia heard that she could get off the bus, she quickly opened the mirror to check her makeup. What she saw made her scream in alarm.
"How could this happen!"
No one had noticed before, but after the shout, everyone looked over.
Upon seeing the woman's expression, some people couldn't help but laugh.
Tong Shujia felt humiliated and could only cover her face as she got off the bus. After the bus drove away, she broke down and told the father and son what had happened.
"Why didn't you guys remind me? My makeup looks terrible!"
"Mom, I was dozing off in the car and didn't notice anything. You can add it later!" Lin Xiaoyi said nonchalantly. "Don't be fooled by the fact that there were so many people in the car and no one recognized you. Do you think you'd be recognized back home?"
Lin Hongzhi remained silent, as he was thinking about how to ask his daughter questions so as not to hurt her!
Tong Shujia could only take out the powder compact again to try and touch up her makeup, but she found that she couldn't fix it no matter what she did; in fact, the more she tried, the worse it got.
Lin Xiaoyi said, "Mom, do you want to find a place to wash off your makeup and then redo it?"
Tong Shujia thought this was a good idea, and looked around.
"There's nowhere here, is there?"
Lin Xiaoyi held his mother's hand and said, "Just come with me."
Seeing that the two of them were walking in opposite directions, Lin Hongzhi had no choice but to call out.
Where are you going?
"Dad, you can just wait here!" Lin Xiaoyi replied, then pulled his mother along and continued walking forward.
He finally reached a house and tentatively knocked on the door. When someone answered, he quickly handed over a dollar.
"Could you please get a basin of water so my mom can wash her face?"
Seeing that someone was so generous, offering only a dollar for a face wash, the person immediately smiled and stepped aside to let the person in.
Tong Shujia didn't expect her son's solution to be to spend money to find a place to do it. She felt bad about spending that one yuan, but luckily she was able to wash off her makeup and start redoing it until her perfect face reappeared. Only then did she leave happily with her son.
After the person left, the man closed the door, took the money out of his pocket, examined it carefully, and found nothing amiss.
