The meal was simple yet heartwarming. Since they didn't need acupuncture, they rested for a while after eating and then drove back.
In the stairwell.
The two looked at each other, and the child remained in the car without going upstairs.
The moon is very big tonight, illuminating almost everything outside.
Gu Lingxiao: "I can't bear to part with you."
Lu Zhixia rarely saw this tough guy's tender side, and said with a smile,
"Wait patiently for me to come back!"
Gu Lingxiao pushed open the door and entered the room, casually pulling the person in. He kissed her passionately, more intensely than before, as if he wanted to crush her and knead her into his body.
If it weren't for the cough that came through, he would have continued kissing.
"I'm going back."
"Um."
Gu Lingxiao turned around, opened the door, and left, fearing that if he didn't leave now, he wouldn't be able to leave at all.

When Gu Lingxiao returned to the car, he saw that the child was already asleep. The little guy looked just like his comrade-in-arms, a miniature version of him.
He would never let the child go back to that woman, even if it meant he couldn't wear these clothes anymore!
I slowly drove back to the unit, and after parking the car, I saw that the child was still sleeping.
So he had no choice but to pick up the child and carry him on his shoulders all the way back to the dormitory.
The moment the light was turned on, I felt the baby move, and that's when I put the baby on the bed.
Gu Huailin looked around at his surroundings, momentarily dazed. Then, recalling what had happened before, he softly called out,
"dad!"
"Um."
"Am I going to be staying in the dorm for the next few days?"
"Yes, it's safer this way."
"Okay, I won't go out."
Gu Lingxiao chuckled, "Silly child, you can still go outside to use the restroom!"
Gu Huailin looked at his father's dormitory. He had visited the army once when he was young. Back then, they lived in a dormitory where several people shared a room.
His uncles are all very kind people. They bring him delicious food every day and take him up the mountain to play.
He didn't leave the army until his father found a place to live outside.
"Dad, are you living in this house alone now?"
"Yes, just me."
"Then I'll sleep in the top bunk?"
"Aren't you afraid of falling?"
Gu Huailin shook his head happily, "I'm not afraid, as long as Dad is here, I'm not scared!"
"Good son!" Gu Lingxiao patted the child's head.
Then I started tidying up the upper bunk. It's usually cleaned, so there's not much dust. I just need to make the bed and I can sleep in it.
After making the bed, I watched my son climb onto the top bunk, doing it so well that I didn't have to worry about him at all. Then I watched the little guy crawl into bed. In the blink of an eye, my child has grown so much.
"Do you need to use the restroom? If not, are you going to sleep?"
"Yes, I need to go to the bathroom." Gu Huailin climbed out of bed, then realized that the upper bunk was quite high, so he climbed down from where he came from.
"It seems quite interesting," she said, tilting her little face up.
"Dad, am I amazing!"
"Wow, you're amazing!"
"Then I'll go to the restroom."
"The toilet is on the far left, and there's a light on the wall!"
"Dad, I know! I remembered it after I came here once last time."
Gu Lingxiao said to his son's retreating figure, "Then go by yourself. If you can't manage, come back and call me!"
Gu Huailin kept telling himself he was a man, then rushed to the bathroom and turned on the light. He realized he had done it and smiled happily.
Gu Lingxiao took off his clothes, his mind still replaying what had happened in the room. A slight smile appeared on his lips. Lu Zhixia had promised him that they would put the wedding on the agenda.
Gu Huailin pushed open the door and came in, only to find your father in a daze, not even noticing that he had come back.
"Dad, what are you thinking about? Are you thinking about marrying Mom?"
Gu Lingxiao was still a little dazed when he saw his son return. He reached out and patted his son's bottom.
"Kids shouldn't meddle in adult matters. Go upstairs and go to sleep!"
"Let's get married soon!" Gu Huailin said, then quickly climbed up.
Gu Lingxiao was now being pressured to get married by his son, which was quite amusing. He took off his shoes, put on slippers, and went to the washroom to rinse his feet. When he came back, he saw that his son was already asleep.
The little guy doesn't care about the location; he falls asleep as soon as he closes his eyes.
So he came to the bedside and lay down. With something on his mind, it wasn't easy for him to fall asleep, and he didn't fall asleep until late at night.
He was woken up by the sound of his son getting out of bed in the morning, and that's when he realized it was already daylight.
Gu Huailin went to the corner, picked up the basin, and then turned back and said, "Dad, you go to sleep for a while. I'll go wash my face by myself."
“Go!” Gu Lingxiao said.
