Looking at the white porcelain bottle, Tao Lihua remained unmoved, because she had once asked a doctor and was told that her face would never recover in this lifetime, and there was no miracle at all.
"I don't need it anymore, that's it!" she said resolutely, her heart filled with despair.
Lu Zhixia shoved the bottle into her hand. "Try it first. If it doesn't work, just throw the bottle away!"
Tao Lihua knew her good intentions. "Thank you, Xiaxia. If it weren't for you, I might not have understood life at all."
Lu Zhixia spoke to her as if she were giving her last words, so she took her hand and said,
"Listen to me, even ants try to survive, it's really not worth it for him."
“But I don’t want to live anymore,” Tao Lihua said. “The court officials have already come, and I’ve signed the papers. You’ll definitely win your case; that scumbag will never get a good outcome!”
Lu Zhixia raised her hand and slapped her twice. "What you're doing is unfair to yourself! It's not unfair to me. Your parents are still alive, so they're the ones who should be suffering!"
Upon hearing her parents' voices, Tao Lihua burst into tears.
Lu Zhixia held the person in her arms to comfort her, saying that this person had suffered too much.
"Lihua!" came a shout from outside.
They looked up and saw an old woman standing at the door, with gray hair and a thin body.
"Mom! What brings you here!" Tao Lihua stared in disbelief at her mother standing at the door.
Tao Li was overjoyed to know that she had finally found the place, but when she saw the unsightly scar on her daughter's face, her heart ached.
The mother and daughter hugged each other tightly, tears streaming down their faces as if they were free.
Tao Lihua was truly heartbroken. Back then, she had defied her mother's objections and married that beast Zhao Zeyu. She only regretted that she had been blind!
Lu Zhixia said, "Alright, stop crying so hard. Let's sit down and talk."
Tao Lihua quickly led her mother into the room next door. Although the poisonous substance would only cause poisoning if it was in close contact with the skin, who could guarantee that?
Tao Li opened her bag and said, "I've sold everything I could at home. I've brought all the money so we can get our facial injuries treated."
Tao Lihua cried even harder when she saw the money. "Mom, I'm not worth you doing this. Keep this money for your retirement!"
Seeing her daughter's stubbornness, Tao Lishi was reminded of those days.

Looking into her mother's eyes, Tao Lihua's resolve wavered. She had originally planned to torture the woman to death and then end her own life.
Now she didn't think that way. She wanted to live for her mother, so she got out of bed, went to the next room, and reached out to pull the man's blanket off.
Zhao Zeyu's eyes lit up instantly. If the woman let him go, he could live!
"I want a divorce!" Tao Lihua said.
"I'll agree to anything you say!" Zhao Zeyu said with all his might, "Just let me live. I don't want to die, I really don't want to die. It was all my fault before, please let me go!"
The man's pathetic state was disgusting, and Tao Lihua didn't want to see it a second time, so she turned around and went back into the house.
As she turned away, Zhao Zeyu's eyes flashed with hatred. How could he possibly let her go?

Lu Zhixia saw everything through the crack in the door. This man didn't have long to live; he was deeply poisoned!
They chatted with the elderly woman for a while longer until it was almost time for them to leave.
Tao Lihua took the initiative to escort the person to the door and greeted the neighbors. With hope for survival, her eyes shone brightly.
The neighbors found it unbelievable; while they sympathized with her, they were also afraid of the woman's sometimes sinister gaze.
Lu Zhixia said, "Take good care of the elderly and stop thinking like that."
Tao Lihua nodded emphatically, "I won't be that foolish again."
Lu Zhixia leaned close to her ear and said, "Get a divorce as soon as possible. He's already poisoned and won't live much longer. Even if he recovers, it's just that his days are numbered."
Tao Lihua understood what she meant and nodded again.
Lu Zhixia and Zhou An'an turned and left; they had done their best.

Zhou An'an: "There are so many devoted women in the world, why do you think men change their minds?"

So they hailed another taxi to the guesthouse.
