Chapter 306 Lu Yan's Ending

So, what happened next?

Lu Yan started renovating the house. She didn't think too much about it when she came that day, but after taking a closer look, she found that there were still many problems with the house, and it needed major construction.

This involved finding people to do the work. She knew there were people at the labor market, so she put on a mask and a hat, wore long sleeves and pants, and went out to find people.

Jian Feng noticed that the house next door had been sold to a young girl who always wore all black. She was busy every day, and he could often hear her having pleasant voices discussing renovations with a contractor.

After more than half a month, he finally saw the little girl in person one day while taking out the trash.

With her hair tied in a high ponytail and her face completely bare of makeup, she looked both innocent and adorable.

"Hello!" Lu Yan greeted the handsome guy first.

Jian Feng nodded, then picked up the trash and walked out.

His leg disability makes him limp, but he no longer cares about how he appears in the eyes of outsiders.

Lu Yan was quite shocked to see that the man's leg was lame, because when he walked through the house, his leg didn't seem lame.

It's such a pity that such a beautiful face has a limp.

After meeting a few times, they became familiar with each other and occasionally exchanged a few words.

The start of the school year is fast approaching. The house has been renovated and the furniture has been moved in.

Lu Yan went out shopping again, buying bedding and some clothes. Goodness, not only did she spend the money her mother gave her, but she also spent almost all of her own meager savings.

She's very open-minded; she can't rely entirely on her family. She plans to do a part-time job after school starts, if she has time, to support herself first.

If her parents could start from scratch, then so could she.

When I came back, I had so much stuff that I felt like I couldn't carry it all.

Just then, the item was lifted up. She looked at Jian Feng.

"Thank you!"

"You're welcome," he said casually.

They quickly returned upstairs, and their belongings were moved inside.

Lu Yan said to him, "I'm going to cook in a bit, do you want me to bring you some?"

Looking at the smile on her face, Jian Feng couldn't bring himself to refuse.

"OK!"

"Can you eat spicy food?" Lu Yan asked.

"Okay, but not too spicy," Jian Feng said.

Lu Yan: "Okay, I understand. Come over in an hour."

Jian Feng nodded, then turned around, took out his keys, opened the door, and went inside.

Lu Yan tidied up her things and then went to the kitchen to cook, only to discover that there was no salt in the house.

It's ridiculous that they have to treat them to food.

So she had no choice but to open her door and knock on the door next door.

Jian Feng had just finished showering, with a towel around his neck, wearing a vest and shorts, when he opened the door.

Lu Yan had to admit that she was a sucker for good looks; the man looked so handsome after his shower that she lingered there, her eyes darting around.

Jian Feng chuckled, "Isn't it inappropriate for you to stare at me like that?"

Lu Yan could only awkwardly say with her hands behind her back, "It's like this, I don't have any salt at home, could I ask you for some?"

Jian Feng turned around, went back into the house, grabbed an unopened bag of salt, and handed it to her.

"If you need anything else, please contact me as soon as possible."

Lu Yan nodded happily, then quickly went back into the house and closed the door behind her. She leaned against the door, her heart pounding.

Her mother had told her before that she didn't need to find a good-looking partner, and she was even thinking of finding a soldier.

I never expected to fall for someone so quickly. I just think it's youthful impulsiveness, and maybe it will pass in time.

She busied herself in the kitchen, preparing a simple three-dish meal and soup. If she were eating alone, one dish would suffice, but when entertaining guests, it's better to present the food in a more appealing way.

There was a knock on the door.

So she hurried to the door, quickly tidied her hair, and then opened the door.

The man was wearing a white shirt and black pants, and his hair was just casually tousled, but you could still make out his features.

"I brought you some fruit." Jian Feng handed over the bag in his hand.

Lu Yan knew that if she didn't take it, she would be embarrassed, so she could only reach out and take it, then turn sideways to let the person in.

Looking at the exquisite three dishes and one soup on the table, Jian Feng began to look at the little girl with new eyes.

"You did all of this?"

"That's right, I made it all. Try it!" Lu Yan sat down, handed him the rice bowl, and then gave him chopsticks.

Jian Feng hadn't eaten a meal cooked by someone else in a long time, and after trying it, she found it tasted incredibly good.

"Although your cooking wasn't great, it tastes really good."

Lu Yan said, "Isn't it delicious? I'm a master at seasoning, but I'm not good at controlling the heat. My mom often says that to me, and I'm used to it."
