"You're the one who rented my son's house!" Old Ma roared, trying to overpower the other party with her imposing manner!
Looking at the old woman's fierce appearance, Lu Zhixia found it hard to imagine that Zhou Cheng would have such a mother. Indeed, every family has its own troubles.

The young woman remained calm and showed no fear, while Old Lady Ma became even more agitated, as her purpose in coming was to drive the tenant away.

She figured out what was going on. This old lady was here to take over the house. Given how well Su Lan took care of her, she had to help her, no doubt about it!
"You're robbing me!" the old woman exclaimed angrily. "You actually asked me for 150 yuan!"
"There's no way around it, we signed a contract before, and I have to live here for a full year!" Lu Zhixia said calmly. "You don't want to pay, but you want me to move out. There's no such thing as a free lunch!"
"I can't argue with you, so I'll just wait for my son to come back at the door!" The old lady sat on her duffel bag, which contained wild vegetables she had dug up from the mountain. She couldn't come empty-handed, so she carried a whole bag.
"Then you just wait!"
Lu Zhixia slammed the door shut and then began to change her clothes.
She was going to the hospital to warn Sister Su Lan so they wouldn't be caught off guard.
The more Grandma Ma looked at the surrounding environment, the better she felt. Her son had previously told her not to come, saying the place wasn't good.
In her opinion, apart from having to climb stairs, the environment here is much better than her hometown.
If the daughter-in-law doesn't agree to the two children moving in, then she should stay!

When they arrived at the ward door, they saw Su Lan feeding her daughter water, but they didn't see Zhou Cheng and the other two children.
She went straight in and put the things she bought on the table.
"Sister Lan!"
"Why did you come here?" Su Lan felt strange. Logically speaking, Lu Zhixia shouldn't have come in the morning.
"I came here to tell you something. This fruit is for you, remember to eat it!" Lu Zhixia walked to the bedside and patted Yuanyuan's head. "Be a good girl and listen to the doctor and Mommy!"
“Okay, Aunt Xia,” Zhou Yuanyuan replied obediently.
Then she and Su Lan went outside into the corridor, and she whispered,
"Your mother-in-law is here!"
"What?"
"Moreover, she came with ill intentions; her target was the house. I had a fight with her and told her that if she wanted me to vacate the house, she would give me 150 yuan!"
“That old woman is really persistent. I knew she was after the house before, which is why I rented it to you.”
"Now that she's here, we have to come up with a plan."
"I don't know what to do either, after all, she is Zhou Cheng's mother."

Zhou Cheng came up the stairs and saw the two standing side by side, looking at the scenery outside the window.
"What are you two talking about? Xia, why did you come over so early in the morning?"
Lu Zhixia glanced left and right, then said, "I just came to take a look. You guys chat, I'll go back first."
She went down the stairs, leaving the two of them alone.
