Tong Shujia couldn't believe her eyes. The girl next to Gu Lingxiao looked exactly like her sister, except that she had long hair and a mole between her eyebrows.
The woman's smile made her look even more like her older sister, sending chills down her spine and making her feel cold all over.
How can they look so alike?
Could it be?
A possibility came to her mind: the girl in front of her was her sister's daughter, the child she had abandoned years ago.
Why would anyone pick her up in a desolate cornfield?
She thought that if she left the baby in the cornfield, it would die in two days and be carried away by the wolves and tigers around. Even if it was discovered, it would just be buried on the spot.

As she watched them walk further and further away, her heart grew heavier and heavier!
"Mom, aren't we not leaving?" Lin Xiaoyi yawned after saying that. He wanted to find a place to sleep.
But if his mother doesn't leave, he can't leave either.
His mother looked ahead, and only then did he notice the family of three walking in front of him. Wasn't the man Gu Lingxiao?

He came here to please his mother and get more money, so he had to make sure she was well taken care of.
Lu Zhixia and Gu Lingxiao got into the car to take their son to school; this was the first time they had taken their child to school together.

The car was going much faster than usual, and we arrived at the law enforcement station quickly. Then, we saw Xiao Wang start to straighten his clothes, open the car door, and get out.
After watching Xiao Wang walk away, Lu Zhixia spoke to Gu Lingxiao.
"Is this how all men are when they're in love? Like peacocks about to spread their tails!"
Gu Lingxiao: "There are more men in the law enforcement office, and he wants to outshine the others."
Lu Zhixia then understood what was going on and said to him,
"That's interesting!"

As Xiao Wang entered the law enforcement office, he began looking around, hoping to find a good-looking man inside.
After looking around, I found that most of them were of average appearance, and some even looked like they were already married.
He scanned the area again but still couldn't find Zhou An'an, so he had no choice but to stop someone at random.

The man glanced at him and said, "She went out and hasn't come back yet!"

This way, they could spend some time alone together, and with that thought in mind, they left the law enforcement office in a good mood.
Then he quickly got into the car and turned to them, saying, "I couldn't find An'an. They said she went out on a mission. I was thinking of bringing her some dumplings later."
"You really know how to take care of people!" Lu Zhixia teased. "After this meal of dumplings, you two can be completely open about your relationship."
Xiao Wang chuckled. That was exactly what he planned. Now that the two of them had confirmed their relationship, he wanted to let everyone around them know so that no one would have any designs on them.
They soon arrived at the tenement building and got out of the car.
Xiao Wang looked up at the sky. "It was sunny just a moment ago, but now it's covered in dark clouds. Is it going to rain?"
