Chapter 154 Unlucky Wang Xia

The leaders always conduct surprise inspections, so every year there are always one or two unlucky ones who get caught and have points deducted.

Everyone usually takes care of themselves, but we had a dinner party yesterday and got home late, so none of us got a good rest today.

This is when everyone is most relaxed.

No one expected it to happen at this time.

Some people hurriedly put on their work badges and pretended to revise their work.

Wang Xia didn't even have time to bother Teacher Xu anymore, and hurriedly rummaged through her pocket for her employee ID.

She searched her bag thoroughly but couldn't find it. Then she remembered that she had left her work badge at home.

If I arrive early, it only takes about ten minutes to get back, and I can still pick it up.

But she always arrives right on time, and it's already past her work start time.

It will be too late to go out now.

As she frantically searched for her employee ID, the director had already arrived with other leaders.

Wang Xia had no choice but to quickly sit down as if nothing had happened.

However, when I sat down, I found that my desk was a mess, with test papers and homework piled up everywhere.

When the other teachers arrived and found the desks were not tidied up, they all tidied them up themselves.

It doesn't look so messy.

But Wang Xia arrived in such a hurry that she didn't have time to do any of these things.

So much so that when the director led several leaders in, what they saw was Wang Xia frantically stuffing the exam papers under the table.

When the director came in and saw Wang Xia's actions, his face darkened immediately. Several other leaders also frowned. "What are you doing? Are those test papers unwanted? How can you put them on the ground?"

Test papers and assignments belong to the students, and not only should the students cherish them, but teachers should not damage them at will. Such behavior is extremely inappropriate for them.

Wang Xia was startled and quickly put the test papers back on the table. As a result, the test papers, which were already piled up in a mess, all fell to the side with a clatter when she put them down.

Wang Xia stopped breathing and quickly squatted down to pick it up.

The office fell silent.

Everyone knew, without even looking, how grim the expressions on the leaders' faces were.

"What are you all standing there for? Don't you have anything to do?"

The director frowned and reprimanded him.

The other teachers were startled and quickly looked away to go about their own business.

Last night at the dinner party, the director was drinking and laughing with everyone.

There was no mention of the leader being inspecting today.

So everyone let their guard down.

Then he changed his attitude, and everyone realized that they had all fallen for his trap.

The leader looked around the office and saw that the trash cans were overflowing with garbage, and several teachers' desks were not tidy, especially the one in front of him, which could only be described as a mess.

"What's your name?" the leader asked Wang Xia, frowning.

Wang Xia's heart was in her throat. She turned around stiffly and smiled, "I, my name is Wang Xia."

"Which class are you teaching? Where's your employee ID?" the leader asked in a businesslike tone.

Wang Xia broke out in a cold sweat. "I... I forgot it at home. I'm the third-grade homeroom teacher..."

The leader ignored her and said something to the person behind him.

Sure enough, someone immediately started taking notes.

Wang Xia's face turned deathly pale.

I knew I was definitely being remembered.

"Old Wang, even teachers shouldn't be managed too leniently," the leader reprimanded the director.

The director smiled apologetically: "Yes, I will manage it well."

After saying that, he glared fiercely at Wang Xia.

"The hygiene is terrible. Don't you guys clean your offices? If you're like this yourselves, how can you teach students well and set a good example for them?"

The director said, "Teachers were arranged to clean the rooms."

"Oh? Who was the teacher on duty yesterday? Stand up."

Teacher Xu stood up without hesitation.

Wang Xia's forehead was covered in cold sweat, and she stiffly stood up again.

When the leader saw her, he paused for a moment, and his eyes turned even colder.

"It's you again?"

"I...I..." Wang Xia's face turned red with embarrassment, and she wished she could find a hole to crawl into.

"Let me see this exam paper." The leader ignored her and looked at the messy exam paper on the table. Someone next to him quickly handed it to him.

He glanced at it, his brow furrowed so deeply it could trap a fly.

"Does she have a degree?" he asked the director.

The director looked at Wang Xia's misspelled words, which were scribbled all over with red pen. One of the test papers was riddled with marks, with many places torn by red pen. It was clear how bad and impatient this person's attitude was when grading the test papers.

He wanted to teach Wang Xia a lesson, to deflate her arrogance, and to stop her from always looking down on others and bullying other teachers just because her husband was on duty in the army.

But he never expected that Wang Xia had reached such a hopeless state.

Unlike other teachers, Wang Xia has been a veteran teacher for many years.

It's unbelievably bad.

He sighed and told the truth: "I do have an education, a high school diploma."

"A high school graduate with such poor handwriting? How did she even get into college?" the leader mocked rudely.

"I think the hiring standards for this teacher at your school need to be improved. How can someone like this teach students well? Schools don't keep idle people. If someone can't do the job, we'll replace them with someone else."

After saying that, he put the test paper on the table, clearly furious.

Director Wang didn't dare to speak either.

"What's the teacher's name?" the leader asked Teacher Xu again.

"Xu Hui, the fifth-grade homeroom teacher," Ms. Xu began.

"What's going on? Why isn't anyone cleaning? Are you all ignoring what your supervisor says?"

Teacher Xu shook her head, "I've already cleaned it. Teacher Wang and I cleaned different areas. I cleaned the west side of the office and the director's office area."
