Chapter 7 Pei Yuchen is back

Pei Jichuan washed Xiaobao's clothes that were in the basin.

When Song Yanzhi led Xiaobao home, both of them were stunned for a moment.

Xiao Bao, carrying his schoolbag, unconsciously tilted his chin up when he saw the two of them.

He had a look on his face that said, "Look, only I have this, you guys don't."

Pei Tiantian was extremely envious.

Pei Jichuan was also surprised, his eyes filled with envy that he himself did not realize.

Pei Tiantian couldn't help but run over and ask, "Aunt Song, is Xiaobao going to school?"

She had only ever seen school children carry this kind of backpack.

Song Yanzhi responded with a sound of agreement, said nothing more, and told Xiaobao to go play by himself while he went inside to prepare the medicine.

The smell of Chinese medicine was very strong and pungent; the kitchen was filled with it in no time.

Pei Tiantian wanted to get along well with Xiaobao because she noticed that Aunt Song liked Xiaobao very much, but was very cold towards them.

If Aunt Song gets along well with Xiao Bao, she might pay more attention to them.

She went over to Xiaobao and said, "Xiaobao, can I take a look at your new schoolbag?"

Pei Tiantian is adorable; if it weren't for her family background, she would definitely be very pampered.

However, Xiao Bao wasn't having any of it; he grabbed his schoolbag and ran straight into his room.

He completely ignored her.

Xiao Bao doesn't like them, he doesn't know why, he just doesn't like them.

Seeing his attitude, Pei Tiantian's eyes welled up with tears of grievance.

Song Yanzhi forced himself to drink a bowl of thick, dark medicine, and almost vomited it up.

Turning around, she saw Pei Jichuan, the male lead, looking at her from the kitchen doorway with a complicated expression.

She paused, then regained her usual expression and asked, "Is something the matter?"

Pei Jichuan remained silent for a while. He had only come over because he smelled a strong medicinal odor, and happened to see his adoptive mother drinking her medicine.

I learned that my adoptive mother was not in good health. No wonder she always looked pale and would stop and rest for a while when doing things.

He didn't know what to say; he had always been a man of few words since childhood.

Everyone thought he was strange. His sister said that Xiaobao's brain was not normal, and some people also said that they were not normal.

So Pei Jichuan got very angry when his sister talked about Xiaobao.

Auntie would be very angry if she heard that.

He didn't say anything, turned around and ran away.

Song Yanzhi looked completely bewildered.

Her memories of the male lead were always of him as silent and aloof.

It's quite remarkable that a four or five-year-old child can control his emotions so well from such a young age; no wonder he can play the male lead.

After he went to school, he lived up to expectations and skipped grades. Before long, he became famous in the family compound.

At this age, you can still see some emotions in him, but as he gets older, he will become more and more indifferent, always giving off a "keep away" expression.

Even though Song Yanzhi raised him from childhood, he wasn't particularly good to her.

Song Yanzhi originally thought that the child's personality was innate.

It wasn't until his biological mother appeared that he realized it wasn't that he was inherently cold, but rather that in his eyes, she was simply not worthy of being his mother.

Song Yanzhi no longer cares what he thinks.

She only cares about her son.

Pei Tiantian cried as she washed her clothes. Her brother wouldn't help her, so she had to wash them herself. Her hands had been in contact with water a lot at Aunt Zhou's house, and now they burned as soon as they touched soap.

I couldn't help but cry again.

Pei Jichuan couldn't stand it anymore and came over to help her.

Everyone had just seen Song Yanzhi bring back so many nice things with Xiaobao, and now seeing the two children who had only been there a short time squatting in the yard washing clothes, they couldn't help but feel a little sad.

"What's wrong with Xiao Song? He's barely arrived home and he's already making people do his laundry."

"Yes, look how swollen that girl's hands are, it's so pitiful."

"She's still crying, could it be that Xiao Song scolded her?"

"I heard that she was kind to her husband; this is truly disheartening!"

People felt sorry for the two children who were so young and had to do this kind of work.

When Pei Yuchen returned to his doorstep with his luggage, he heard these sounds.
