Chapter 2 Information

The uncle was silent for a long time. Facing Li Muchen's almost pleading gaze, he hesitated again and again. Finally, he reluctantly took out a small stack of banknotes from his pocket and sighed helplessly, "Nephew, you have to be careful with this money."

Leaving his uncle's house, Li Muchen's heart was heavy. His brows were furrowed like a "川" character, his lips pursed, his face a look of dejection. The streets were dusty, and the leaves on the roadside were wilted and listless from the sun. But he didn't dare to pause for a moment and hurried back to his aunt's house.

His aunt was knitting in the living room at the time. The cicadas outside the window chirped repeatedly, making him even more distracted. Upon hearing his thoughts, his aunt stopped what she was doing and slid her sweater down her lap. A flicker of surprise crossed her face, then her brow furrowed slightly, her eyes revealing a hint of hesitation. She said, "Mu Chen, I know you have this idea, but most of my family's money is in fixed deposits, so I don't have much to give you right now." Li Muchen quickly said, "Aunt, I'll lend you as much as I can. I won't let you down."

Li Muchen was not discouraged at all and continued to visit other relatives with hope. When some relatives heard that he wanted to borrow money, their eyes immediately dodged, and they repeatedly stepped back and waved their hands, their faces full of rejection, saying, "Oh, it's not that I don't want to help you, but I just don't have any spare money!" Others looked embarrassed, their brows twisted into a big knot, their fingers tapping the table, hesitating for a long time, and opening and closing their mouths again and again before saying, "I can only give you a small amount at most. I really can't give you more."

During this difficult borrowing process, Li Muchen happened to meet his childhood sweetheart Su Yao. The small shop on the street was a little dim, and the shelves were full of goods.

Su Yao stood there gracefully, like a fairy from a painting. She had a perfectly oval face, with smooth, soft lines, as if it were a masterpiece meticulously crafted by heaven. Her fair skin was as smooth as mutton-fat jade, with a faint pink sheen that made one want to touch it.

Her eyebrows were thick and neat, curved like crescent moons. Beneath them were a pair of large, watery eyes, as bright and lively as a clear lake, their movements seeming to hold a thousand stars. Her long eyelashes curled slightly upward, like two small fans, fluttering gently when she blinked, adding a touch of playfulness and cuteness.

Her nose is straight and small, perfectly positioned in the center of her face, giving it a delicate and three-dimensional look. Her lips are as rosy and tender as cherries, and her slightly upturned mouth always carries a subtle smile, making people feel like they are in the spring breeze.

Her black hair cascaded down softly over her shoulders, swaying gently in the breeze and exuding a charming fragrance. When she tilted her head slightly, her hair slid down like silk, making her look even more charming.

Su Yao's entire appearance exudes a unique charm. She has the dignity and elegance of a lady from a noble family, yet the cuteness and innocence of a young girl, making her unforgettable.

Su Yao was picking things up. Seeing Li Muchen's sad face, she quickly stepped forward and asked with concern: "Brother Muchen, what's wrong with you?"

Li Muchen told her the whole story. After listening to it, Su Yao had no hesitation in her clear eyes. She took out an envelope from her bag without hesitation, stuffed it into his hand, and patted his shoulder gently. Her eyes were full of trust and encouragement. The corners of her mouth raised, and she smiled and said, "I believe you can succeed!"

Li Muchen's eyes welled up with emotion. He clutched the hard-earned funds tightly in his hands, and the sense of responsibility in his heart grew heavier. He secretly vowed in his heart that he would make sure that those who trusted him would be generously rewarded.
