Li Muchen sat behind the huge desk, his hands gently folded on the table.
There was a hint of trust and expectation in his eyes, and he raised his eyes slightly to look at Victoria standing in front of him.
At this moment, he thought to himself, "Victoria has always performed extremely well. I should be able to rest assured in handing over the future affairs of the winery to her. Besides, she is my woman, and I also want her to be more involved in my business."
The corners of his mouth unconsciously rose slightly, and his expression became softer.
Victoria stood straight, her exquisite professional attire perfectly highlighting her temperament.
Her eyes were bright and focused, full of respect for Li Muchen, as well as excitement to try.
Li Muchen tapped the table lightly, breaking the brief silence.
He began, "Victoria, you've done a great job purchasing the vineyards. I'd like to hand over some of the winery's responsibilities to you as well."
Victoria's eyes widened slightly, a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes, and then a confident smile appeared on her face. She said, "Dear, do you really trust me to do this? I'm afraid I can't do it well."
Although she said this, the determination in her eyes revealed her inner desire and confidence.
Li Muchen stood up, walked around the desk to Victoria, gently held her hand, and looked into her eyes tenderly.
He said, "Of course I trust you, dear. I know how well you handle things. And I'm sure you'll manage the winery just as well as you do the vineyards."
Victoria felt the warmth of Li Muchen's palm and the trust in his words, and her heart was filled with emotion and sweetness.
She held Li Muchen's hand tightly and said, "Don't worry, dear. I will definitely do my best. However, the winery's affairs are more complicated, and I may need some time to gain a deeper understanding of the current operations."
Li Muchen nodded, released her hand, patted her shoulder gently, and said, "That's what I should do. I'll have the relevant personnel organize all the information for you. If you have any questions, you can always come to me to discuss it."
"Okay, dear. I would like to start by understanding the winery's winemaking process and sales channels so that I can better grasp the overall operational direction." Victoria said seriously.
"Well, this is a good idea. I believe you will give me a surprise." Li Muchen's eyes were full of encouragement.
After coming out of the office, Victoria took a deep breath, her expression becoming serious and earnest. She knew that this was Li Muchen's trust in her, and it was also a big challenge.
Night has fallen quietly. After finishing a busy day, Li Muchen did not rest easily as usual, but started another busy mode as a father.
He sat on the soft sofa, his eyes tired yet full of happiness.
He leaned back slightly, gently rubbing his temple, thinking to himself, "These little guys are now one year old and starting to learn to talk. They really make me love them but also give me a headache."
An indulgent smile unconsciously appeared on his face.
Chen Hong held their child Li Xiaoyao and slowly walked to Li Muchen.
Li Xiaoyao's big black eyes looked at everything around him curiously, and his small mouth opened and closed, as if he was trying to organize his words.
Chen Hong looked at the child gently, then looked at Li Muchen, her eyes full of happiness.
She said, "My dear, Xiaoyao seems to have made some progress today."
Li Muchen sat up straight, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. He reached out his hand to hug the child and whispered, "Oh? Really? Did my little Xiaoyao show any new performance today?"
At this moment, Li Xiaoyao suddenly uttered two words clearly: "Father." The childish voice echoed in the room, as if it was the most beautiful voice in the world.
Li Muchen's eyes widened instantly, his face full of surprise. He excitedly hugged Li Xiaoyao in his arms and lifted him up high.
He said loudly: "Haha, my dear son, you can call me father now!" Li Xiaoyao was amused by his actions and laughed.
Chen Hong watched this scene from the side, tears of happiness welling up in her eyes. She smiled and said, "Look, this child is so smart. He will definitely become even better in the future."
Li Muchen hugged Li Xiaoyao and kissed his little face gently, his eyes filled with deep fatherly love.
He said: "Yes, this child is really smart. But this also means that we have to teach him more carefully."
However, before he could fully recover from the joy, Monica came over with her and Li Muchen's child.
Monica had a shy and excited smile on her face, and her child was twisting his body in her arms and making babbling sounds.
Monica said, "Mu Chen, our little baby has started to learn to speak. Although his words are not clear yet, he can already make some simple syllables."
Li Muchen looked at the child in Monica's arms, his eyes full of love. He stretched out his fingers and gently teased the child.
He smiled and said, "It seems that we will have another little chatterbox in our family. But this is really a happy trouble. I have to be busy with these little ones practicing talking in the evening."
Monica nodded slightly and said, "Yes, but it's also sweet. I feel that our lives are more fulfilling and meaningful now."
Li Muchen put Li Xiaoyao down and let him play on the carpet, then walked to Monica and hugged her and the child in his arms.
