As usual, Li Muchen bought a newspaper at a newsstand on the street, intending to get some useful information from it. As he flipped through the newspaper, a small piece of news caught his attention.
Li Muchen stumbled upon a business opportunity, his eyes instantly lighting up and his heartbeat accelerating. He stared intently at the lines of text, studying them repeatedly, fearing he'd misread them. Past memories flooded back, and he clearly remembered key information and the potentially enormous opportunity.
Li Muchen's hands trembled slightly. He knew this was a golden opportunity. His mind raced, plotting how to capitalize on it and make a fortune. He stood there, lost in thought. The surrounding noise seemed to fade away, and now his eyes were focused solely on the news about the bonds.
"This... is this true?" he muttered to himself in disbelief. Countless thoughts flashed through his mind, and his accumulated business knowledge and experience exploded like a tinderbox.
"This is a great opportunity, an opportunity to change my destiny!" he thought excitedly, with excitement flashing in his eyes.
But at the same time, a hint of worry crept into his heart. "Can I really seize this opportunity? What if I misjudge and lose everything?" This worry made his palms sweat.
However, after just a moment, his inherent stubbornness and desire for success overwhelmed his worries. "What are you afraid of? If I don't fight now, when will I? Being timid will never lead to greatness! This is an opportunity God has given me, I must seize it!"
Li Muchen took a deep breath and tried to calm his excitement. His eyes became extremely firm, as if he had seen a bright road to wealth and success.
Li Muchen hurried back home, sat in front of the somewhat worn desk, spread out a piece of paper, picked up a pen, and began to formulate his trading plan.
He first wrote the word "funding" on a piece of paper. He knew his funds were limited and needed to be prudent. He took stock of his existing savings and the money he could borrow from friends and family, carefully calculating every possible source of funding. He gave himself a week to raise the funds.
Next, he wrote "research." He knew that to profit from bond trading, he needed a deep understanding of relevant dynamics and trends. He decided to spend the next two weeks visiting institutions, consulting professionals, and gathering relevant information and data.
A "risk assessment" also appeared on paper. Li Muchen was well aware that investing inevitably carries risks; he needed to anticipate potential adverse events and develop corresponding response strategies. He considered how to cut losses if the market suddenly shifted, causing price fluctuations beyond expectations; and how to address any financial security issues that arose during the trading process. He planned to complete the risk assessment and develop a response strategy within three days.
Then there was the question of "buy and sell timing." He recalled his knowledge, combined it with the current situation, and tried to determine the optimal buying and selling times. He calculated dates and prices on paper, his brow furrowed and then relaxed. He planned to establish a rough framework for buying and selling within a week, while closely monitoring interest rate trends.
Finally, he wrote down "target profit." Li Muchen set a clear profit target for himself, knowing that only with a clear goal could he remain clear-headed and resolute during the operation. He hoped to achieve his initial profit target within a month.
After finishing the outline of his plan, Li Muchen leaned back in his chair and breathed a sigh of relief. He also understood that this was only a preliminary plan, requiring constant adjustments and refinement based on actual circumstances. However, at this moment, he was fully prepared to meet the upcoming challenges.
On a summer afternoon, the sun is scorching and dazzling, and the whole town seems to be shrouded in a huge steamer.
Li Muchen knew clearly that his tiny savings, plus the money he could raise from his friends, were just a drop in the ocean for his grand plan.
He gritted his teeth, a determined light flashing in his eyes, but he could not hide his helplessness, so he decided to swallow his pride and ask his relatives for help.
He went to his uncle's house first, filled with trepidation. His uncle and his family were sitting around the dining table eating dinner. The old fan whirred overhead, but it couldn't dispel the stuffy heat.
Li Muchen stood awkwardly at the door, forcing a flattering yet awkward smile. His hands nervously tugged at the corners of his clothes, his eyes flickering, and his voice trembling slightly as he said, "Uncle, aunt, I've been in some trouble lately and urgently need money to solve it, but I don't have enough on my own. I know you've always loved me, but now I really have no choice but to come to you. Uncle, can you lend me some money? Once I get through this difficult time, I will definitely repay you in the future!"
When my uncle heard this, his brows furrowed, his expression instantly darkening. He slammed his chopsticks down on the table with a "snap," his eyes filled with hesitation and worry. He said, "This isn't going to be easy, nephew!"
My aunt was even more exaggerated. She threw the bowl down, her face stretched out, her eyes wide, and she kept muttering, "This is not something that can be agreed to lightly. We don't have much spare money at home."
Li Muchen was so anxious that sweat broke out on his forehead and his face flushed red. He gestured with his hands non-stop as he eagerly recounted his carefully planned plan. His eyes were filled with the expectation of receiving support. "Uncle, aunt, I really need money. I promise to work hard and make money. I will definitely pay you back with interest when the time comes."
