Chapter 13: Save People First, Then Steal Oil

Chen Rou glared at him coldly, then asked the Taiwanese boy, "Weren't you leaving? Why aren't you leaving yet?"

After gritting his teeth for a long time, the Taiwanese man crushed a Coke can and smashed it on the ground, asking in return, "Wouldn't it be suicide for me to get off the boat now?"

There are Gui Touchang's men everywhere outside, and the Philippine police and criminals are in cahoots. If he tries to disembark, he will only die a horrible death.

He was so afraid of dying that he didn't dare go back to the park, let alone get off the ship.

Chen Rou drew her gun and pointed it at his head, saying, "But since you won't get off the ship, I'll assume you're an accomplice. Fighting for oil will inevitably lead to a firefight, and there will be casualties. If you're cowardly and let things slide at the crucial moment, I'll kill you too."

The Taiwanese guy sighed, raised two fingers, and said lazily, "Okay, if a fight breaks out, I swear to God in my mother's name that I will fight as hard as you. Is that alright?"

Chen Rou then addressed everyone, saying, “We are all strangers who have met by chance, but I will fight to the death to protect you, and you will do the same to protect me. The key to our escape from the Philippines is to work together with one heart and one mind. I don’t need you to swear oaths, but I need you to understand this principle.”

Song Yuanchao, with the demeanor of a soldier, said, "Protecting everyone is my duty."

Nie Han also said, "I will listen to Sister Arou in everything."

The Taiwanese boy was still listless, but he nodded and said, "I'm okay too."

The doctor knew he couldn't escape, and to avoid being beaten, he had no choice but to go along with it: "I'm okay with it too."

Seeing that everyone agreed, Chen Rou gave the order: "Get ready, let's go back!"

...

This is a boat; you need a driver to take it away.

The ship was originally equipped with a driver, but this ship is in cahoots with pirates. Last night, the driver received a call from Gui Tou Chang and drove out to find the escaped hostages. That's why only the doctor was on board when Chen Rou and the others boarded the ship.

However, since the doctor was born in an island nation and also knew how to drive a boat, Chen Rou had him work part-time as a driver.

The boy from Taiwan was afraid of dying, so he took the initiative to ask to learn how to drive a boat from the driver.

However, Chen Rou entrusted the task of learning how to sail a boat to Song Yuanchao, while she kept Wan Daozai by her side.

Firstly, driving a boat is actually just like driving a car; it's not difficult to learn. Song Yuanchao can drive a car, so he will learn to drive a boat very quickly.

Furthermore, Wan Daozai was not only timid but also rebellious. Although Chen Rou was a woman, she was not soft-hearted. On the run, she could not be merciful in order to survive. She kept Wan Daozai by her side so that she could easily shoot him dead.

It's about having two options: she can either help him escape or become his nemesis, it all depends on his behavior.

Once the ship was ready to set sail, Chen Rou found two white lab coats, wore one for herself and one for Wan Daozai, and took him up to the deck.

We were all strangers who met by chance, and the Taiwanese guy knew nothing about Chen Rou except her name.

But early in the morning, as the sun rose and its warm, gentle rays shone on her face, the Taiwanese man realized something extraordinary. This ruthless woman had fair, smooth skin, her face looked as if it were powdered, and especially her beautiful eyes, with slightly upturned corners and shimmering watery light within them. She was a stunning beauty who made people want to look at her more closely the more they looked at her.

Men are naturally attracted to women.

The more the Taiwanese man looked at Chen Rou, the more he liked her, and he couldn't help but drool.

But Chen Rou didn't pay attention to him.

It was early morning, the busiest time for maritime transport, with fishing boats and speedboats passing by from time to time.

They crouched on the deck, out of sight of passing ships, but they could observe other vessels.

This sea area is unusually busy today, with armed speedboats passing by from time to time, all carrying mercenaries.

However, because it was a red hospital ship under US jurisdiction, the mercenaries did not board it to search.

More than an hour later, another speedboat appeared in the distance, carrying three mercenaries, three bound women, and a boy who was no more than fourteen or fifteen years old, tied to the stern of the speedboat.

Pointing to the speedboat, Chen Rou asked Wan Daozai, "Did you see that boy on the speedboat? Have you seen him in the park?"

The Taiwanese man said, "I've seen him. His surname is Kwong, and everyone calls him Kwong Tsai. He's been imprisoned in the No. 5 water dungeon."

Chen Rou asked again, "What about those women? Did they also escape from the park?"

"The men kidnapped from the park were used as laborers, and the women were either sold or forced into prostitution. They were all military prostitutes, playthings of mercenaries. I guess they escaped in the chaos, but they didn't get far before they were caught!" said the Taiwanese man.

Chen Rou said, "We must save the women and children. Let's get ready, we'll save the people first and then go to steal the oil."

The Taiwanese man was taken aback.

He had just discovered that this Miss Chen Rou was incredibly beautiful. His lust overcame his cowardice, and he was ready to follow her through fire and water to steal gasoline. But she still wanted to risk her life to save people, a few prostitutes and a little kid.

Seeing his hesitation, Chen Rou said sincerely, "If you're afraid, get off the ship and escape as soon as possible. I'll save him myself."

The Taiwanese man puffed out his chest and raised his head: "You're hilarious! I'm the most manly man on this ship, why would I be afraid!"
