Chapter 25 Hong Kong's Richest Man VS China's Special Forces

The director of the Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital, dressed in a white coat, stood respectfully at the elevator entrance. A moment later, the elevator doors opened, and what came into his view was Nie Rong, the richest man in the country, wearing a gray-blue suit, with a livid face and dull eyes.

He quickly led the doctors and nurses in bowing: "Hello, Chairman Nie!"

He quickly led the way: "Your third master has gone into the examination room. He should be out in half an hour at most. Let me accompany you to the ward to rest. Also, you probably haven't had dinner yet, have you? I ordered some food for you from Fulinmen. It should arrive in about ten minutes..."

Nie Rongyang stopped the dean's nonsense with a gesture and asked only, "Where is the examination room?"

Secretary An spoke first, saying, "Chairman, I'll take you there."

Nie Rong's face was gloomy, and he walked briskly, but after a few steps, he suddenly stopped. The dean beside him, the bodyguards and nurses behind him, and even Secretary An who was leading the way, all the people who were running also suddenly stopped.

Everyone's gaze followed Nie Rong's and turned to the other end of the corridor.

Nie Rong looked suspicious and wary, his brows furrowed with murderous intent, while the well-trained bodyguards behind him looked bewildered and confused, their hands all resting on the guns at their waists.

At the other end of the corridor, there was only one person, a woman, wearing a men's white shirt and tight jeans. Because the shirt was too loose and her figure was too slender, she tied it in a knot at the waist. Above the knot, the shirt was loose and voluminous, and below it were round and pert buttocks and two long, straight, slender legs. The jeans were covered with large patches of dark red, old bloodstains, emitting a strong, cloying smell of blood. That smell, combined with the woman's slightly upturned, watery eyes and her full, red lips, made her exude an aura of three words: Domino's not to be trifled with!

Yes, she also had rifles, pistols, daggers, and magazines tucked into her waistband, and her shirt bore the marks of shrapnel burns, as if she had just emerged from the smoke and fire of war.

That would naturally be Chen Rou, Nie Rong's most favored daughter-in-law.

She, Nie Zhao, and Nie Han had been away for a total of four days and four nights. Before she left, she was praised by everyone in the Nie family, even the Filipino maid, as gentle and lovely, and was the future wife of the Nie family. Now, four days later, she has returned, covered in gunpowder and blood.

Nie Rong, after all, was the richest man in China and had seen many ups and downs, so he remained calm.

Although Secretary An was a quick-witted person, she was still quite young. Upon seeing Chen Rou's behavior, she immediately spread her arms in front of her boss, as if Chen Rou would shoot him dead if she didn't.

The hospital director didn't know what had happened either, but firstly, he didn't know Chen Rou, and secondly, he was the first person to see Nie Zhao. Based on the chaos in Hong Kong in recent years, and the various scandalous gossips about wealthy families that he had seen daily while working in the hospital, he stood up and said something fair: "Chairman Nie, your Third Master was saved by Miss Chen, otherwise the consequences would have been unimaginable."

Nie Rong stared intently at Chen Rou for a long time, then gave a wink to the bodyguard behind him, and said in his usual gentle tone, "Come with me, Rou, and tell me what happened."

He always stayed in the same hospital room that Chen Rou had helped Nie Zhao fight for.

The richest man was unsteady on his feet and breathing shallowly, clearly indicating a serious health problem. However, he forced himself to walk into the ward. Chen Rou was about to follow him in when several bodyguards stopped her.

Chen Rou readily complied, removing the two guns, a dagger, and three magazines from her waist and handing them over to the bodyguards. Even so, the bodyguards thoroughly searched her again, even taking her Zippo lighter, before letting her in.

She entered the room and had just closed the door when she heard Nie Ronghan, who was already sitting on the sofa, ask in a cold voice, "Arou, do you know where the person who harmed your brother Azhen is now?"

Nie Rong had three sons in total. His eldest son, Nie Zhen, was raised and taught by his wife, Han Yuzhu.

He started attending company board meetings with his parents when he was six years old, and started owning his own independent business at the age of twelve. In the words of Hong Kong media, he is humble, intelligent, diligent and eager to learn, and is simply a breath of fresh air among the second generation.

If he hadn't run into trouble, he would have been the undisputed heir to the Nie family and the head of the family.

However, just over a year after his mother Han Yuzhu passed away, he and his wife died in a car accident. They were hit by a dump truck and were smashed into pieces. It took a lot of effort to pull them out of the truck.

Chen Rou knew who had harmed him, of course. It was a former business rival of the Nie family, and also the head of a once-famous family business. He harmed Nie Zhen in order to seize business. Now, that person had been crippled, his tongue had been cut out, and he was a beggar in Yau Ma Tei. All his sons had died suddenly, his wife was a prostitute in Mong Kok, and his daughter was a fish ball girl in Tsim Sha Tsui.

There is no evidence to suggest that Nie Rong did those things.

But anyone who isn't blind can see that Nie Rong was the one who did those things.

Because of a business rivalry, someone murdered his eldest son, and his revenge was to make the men and women of that family beggars and prostitutes, right under his nose, forever.

Although Nie Rong was thin and ill, he was imposing without being angry, and with just a few words, he could make people know that there would be no good end or pleasant consequences for those who messed with him.

The original owner was very familiar with the Nie family, so of course she knew about Nie Zhen.

Chen Rou nodded and said, "I know!"

Nie Rong added, “A man, no matter how many sons he has, whether they are stupid or smart, obedient or rebellious, each son means to him a life, a life more important than his own!”
