Seeing Kuang Zai run away, Nie Han was still stunned when Chen Rou shouted, "Aren't you going yet?"
Nie Han quickly turned around and ran away.
Chen Rou instructed Song Yuanchao: "Quickly unload our speedboat and help us get on it."
Song Yuanchao turned around and ran off, answering as he ran, "Yes."
Upon hearing this, the Taiwanese man panicked and asked Chen Rou, "No way, Miss Chen, you're leaving already, abandoning us?"
Chen Rou handed him the AK and said, "If you want to live, you must obey Song Yuanchao's orders. If you disobey and act on your own, or if you hold Song Yuanchao back, you deserve to die, understand?"
You have to understand, they were on a life-or-death escape.
Humans are like this; as the saying goes, when people are well-fed and warm, they think of lustful desires, and when they are at peace and happy, they know proper etiquette.
Despite his usual carefree attitude and the fact that he hasn't known Chen Rou for long, she saved his life, and he trusts her. In this crisis, he doesn't dare to say anything more, picks up his gun, and shouts, "Yes, madam!"
To make it easier to move the tall Nie Zhao, Chen Rou had just replaced his bed with a mobile bed with one that had wheels on. At this moment, Nie Han and Kuang Zai had already pushed the bed to the cabin door.
The speedboat they had captured was hanging on the side of the ship. At that moment, Song Yuanchao was already loosening the mooring ropes and putting the speedboat into the sea. Chen Rou jumped on first, and then they found another mooring rope to fix the speedboat to the side of the ship. Song Yuanchao then used a stretcher to hold Nie Zhao up, hoisted him up, and transferred him to the speedboat.
Chen Rou didn't leave at this point. She let Nie Han and Kuang Zai get on the speedboat to take care of Nie Zhao. She rushed into the driver's seat, pulled the doctor aside, and sat in the driver's seat. She immediately started to accelerate like crazy.
This is a rocky sea area. If the ship is not careful, it will hit the rocks. Once it hits the rocks, the hull will break. They will all be wiped out on the vast sea without Gui Touchang even having to kill them.
So the doctor drove very slowly the whole way.
But Chen Rou is not.
She accelerated the engine to full speed, and the boat immediately sped off. In front of them were only surging seawater and faintly visible rocks protruding from the sea. Several times the hull almost hit the rocks, but they managed to avoid it safely.
It was also towing a speedboat, which was open-top. As the waves surged onto the speedboat, Nie Zhao, Nie Han, and Kuang Zai were quickly drenched in seawater. Luckily, they were all wearing seatbelts, otherwise they would have all been thrown out.
The doctor was so frightened by Chen Rou that he dared not utter a sound.
Watching Chen Rou steer the boat as if it were flying, Song Yuanchao was also sweating bullets and feeling extremely anxious.
Looking around, he breathed a sigh of relief and said to Chen Rou, "Miss Chen, you've shaken off the tail."
The speedboat that just came was tailing them. If they didn't shake it off, they would be wiped out by Gui Tou Chang's mercenaries before they even entered Hong Kong waters. Once they passed through this rocky area, they would be in the inner waters of Hong Kong. No matter how arrogant Gui Tou Chang was, he wouldn't dare send mercenaries into the inner waters of Hong Kong. So for the time being, they were safe.
Next, they should be wary of the people on the streets of Hong Kong.
Chen Rou stood up and said, "Next, you will proceed along the route we have planned. Before you reach the port, call the police. When you call the police, be sure to say that Nie Zhao is on the ship. Remember that?"
Chen Rou had only discussed the next steps with Song Yuanchao. The Taiwanese boy and the doctor were unaware of the situation and listened in bewilderment. However, as long as Song Yuanchao was on the ship, everything would be fine, and Chen Rou could leave with peace of mind.
By this time, the ship had sailed into an open sea.
Chen Rou left the cockpit, boarded the speedboat, and then untied it from the medical ship. They sped off at breakneck speed.
At this moment, only Nie Han, Kuang Zai, and Nie Zhao were with her. When Chen Rou was speeding the boat earlier, they were tossed around so much in the speedboat that they were completely disoriented. Now, they all looked like drowned rats.
Nie Zhao must have fallen into a coma again, because he has developed a fever again.
As Nie Han and Kuang Zai watched Hong Kong draw closer, they exchanged a glance and breathed a sigh of relief.
It was only 5 p.m., several hours earlier than they had expected to arrive in Hong Kong, and they were traveling by speedboat, not fishing boat.
There are plenty of speedboats in the inner harbor of Hong Kong, and speedboats don't need to go to large piers; they can stop anywhere along the shore. So, in their eyes, as Hong Kong drew closer, they were already safely home.
However, things are not that simple.
The speedboat traveled for another hour, and it was exactly six o'clock in the afternoon when they arrived at a private pier built by the villagers of a village in Central.
It was dinnertime, and there was no one at the dock.
In villages like those in Central, because Hong Kong has been urbanized, there's little difference between them and the city. There are just a few taxis parked by the pier, so they can take one directly to the hospital.
Seeing Chen Rou stop the boat, Nie Han shook Nie Zhao: "Uncle, we've arrived in Hong Kong, we can get off now."
Surprisingly, although Nie Zhao had kept his eyes closed the whole way, he opened them at this moment, clearly indicating that he was awake.
By this time, Chen Rou had already gone ashore and was looking for a taxi.
Nie Han smiled and said to Kuang Zai, "My uncle has woken up, and we're safe and sound now. That's great."
But before she could finish speaking, a tall, thin, middle-aged man with slicked-back skin stood up from a kayak not far away. He walked over aggressively and asked, "Where did you come from?"
He reached out his hand again: "Pay up."
In Hong Kong, large public ports charge fees for ships to dock, and smaller, private ports charge even more, especially small village-built ports used by villagers, where ships from outside are charged even more.
