“I also asked people in the drama club about Shen Jiayu. They said she has taken leave from rehearsals several times in the past few nights and they don’t know what she’s been busy with.”
Hearing this, Ye Linchen frowned and asked thoughtfully, "I have a question. Did she audition for the role of the female lead?"
"There really is one!" Wang Lina replied immediately, "But she lost; everyone voted for me. She was only one vote behind me."
Ye Linchen analyzed, "She may very well harbor resentment towards you for this reason. In this way, she has both the motive and the time. Maybe she is the one among those people at school."
