A cold wind blew by, making her shiver involuntarily.

"Where are you now? Are you safe? I'll arrange for someone to come pick you up right away," Gu Jingran asked anxiously.
"It's alright, everything has been taken care of. Liu Mingxuan has been taken to the police station. Now we just need to wait for the investigation to be completed and for the prosecution process to begin."
Gu Jingran remained silent for a moment before speaking again.
His voice was still gentle, but very firm.
"It's getting late, you should go back and rest," he said softly. "I'm going back to Jiangcheng tomorrow."
Ye Linchen was stunned and asked in confusion, "Why do you suddenly want to go back to Jiangcheng? Have you finished your work?"
