On the other side, as the clerk stamped several documents with a red seal, Gu Yifei's suspicion was declared cleared.
He picked up the pen on the table and signed his name at the end of several documents confirming the authenticity of the transcripts.
Although his hands were still trembling, every stroke was clear and distinct, and particularly powerful.
After signing, he capped the pen, gently placed it on the corner of the table, pushed back his chair, stood up, and walked towards his parents.
All he wanted to do was leave this place that caused him so much pain and depression, and go outside to breathe some fresh air.
A policeman behind him called out to him.

It was the same middle-aged policeman who had just taken Meng Zihan's statement.
He walked over in two steps, his face serious.

The middle-aged policeman looked directly at Gu Yifei and explained to him in detail.

But he forgot that he was not alone; he had a family standing behind him.
Mr. and Mrs. Gu valued their reputation above all else, and they couldn't swallow this insult that had been used against their son.
They were unwilling to let Meng Zihan off so easily, and they would not let the Ye family behind her off either!
After completing the formalities, Gu Jingran drove the three members of the Gu family home.
Gu Yifei fell asleep again in the car.
Once home, after settling Gu Yifei to bed, Gu's mother returned to the living room and sat on the sofa with Gu's father, remaining silent.
This night was far from a pleasant experience for them.
When Gu's mother thought about how her son had been schemed against, she felt heartbroken and kept wiping away tears.
"If Ye Linchen hadn't been quick-witted and found the surveillance footage, Xiaofei might have really been harmed by that brat."
"If I don't marry her, I'll go to jail. Just thinking about it now terrifies me."
Gu's father whispered, "Don't be afraid. Jingran has told me the truth. He has evidence. Everything was arranged by Meng Zihan herself. It has nothing to do with Xiaofei. Xiaofei will be fine."
Gu's mother stared in surprise, her eyes reddening: "What? Jingran has evidence?"
"Yes, he arranged for people to keep an eye on Meng Zihan. He won't let her succeed so easily."
"The reason we haven't presented any evidence is to teach Xiaofei a lesson. As we discussed, if Meng Zihan really goes all out and sues Xiaofei, we'll present the evidence when we appear in court. In the meantime, we'll let this brat suffer a bit more."
Mother Gu breathed a sigh of relief, then scolded, "How could you two do this? You didn't even tell me, you gave me such a fright."
Father Gu laughed: "I told Jingran not to tell you. You're so impatient, you might let Meng Zihan see through your act."
When Gu's mother thought about her own personality, she realized that it really was like that.

"If word gets out about what happened today, my family will lose all face. Are we really just going to let this go?"
Gu's father's eyes were cold and stern.
