"Who else could it be but him?"

She had barely finished speaking when she heard an older woman downstairs calling her.
"Xiao Meng, Xiao Meng, the phone!"
Meng Xueyun said happily, "It must be Xiaohan calling to tell me the good news!"
She raised her voice and replied, "Coming! I'll be right down!"
Then he quickly wiped his hands clean and ran downstairs.
"Just wait and see if you become the factory manager's in-law!"
He left with these words as he was leaving.
Ye Linbei and Ye Linnan were studying inside when her words drew them out, and they asked Ye Zhenghua curiously.
"Dad, what factory manager's in-laws?"
"Your mom is dreaming. Don't worry about her. Go study and get into a good university. That's what's important."
Ye Zhenghua snorted coldly and sent the two back to their room.
He simply couldn't believe that Meng Zihan was really that capable of winning over Gu Yifei.
Having served as a workshop director for so many years, he believed he had some experience.
Meng Zihan's ambitions are sky-high, but his fate is as fragile as paper; this plan is definitely doomed to fail!

"I knew you hadn't been holding back any good news lately, and I was right." He pointed at Meng Zihan with his finger. "Look at you, you're going to the police station more often than you're going to work."
"Why don't we just talk to them and let them let you move in? That would save us the trouble of going back and forth and making a fool of ourselves."
Meng Xueyun reached out and punched Ye Zhenghua hard, hitting him squarely in the ribs.
She glared at him urgently, "Alright, just shut up! Xiaohan is suffering terribly again."
Turning her head, she tried to soften her tone, hugged Meng Zihan, and asked gently, "Xiaohan, don't pay attention to him. What happened? Tell your aunt."
