Chapter Fifty-Nine: Dare to Make a Bet?

"Business cards and pagers, one for each person, don't take the wrong one. The pagers are on loan from the company, if damaged or lost, you will have to pay for them."

She took a business card out of the card holder and pointed to a line of numbers at the bottom to show everyone: "Your pager numbers are printed on the business cards. We can keep in touch and share information in the future."

Then she took out a list with the names and pager numbers of all the employees.

"Once you've received your things, you can go about your business if you don't have anything else to do. You have to come to the company for a morning meeting every Monday. If you can't come, you have to ask for leave in advance."
