Ye Qing had just stood up halfway when she heard Ye Shuwei's words. She was quite surprised, and after a moment of stunned silence, she looked at Xi Yue, then at Ye Shuwei, pointed to herself, and asked incredulously, "Looking for me?"
Ye Shuwei nodded.
Although Ye Shuwei and Ye Qing haven't explicitly stated their relationship, it's already an unspoken understanding. As for Ye Qing being particularly surprised when Ye Shuwei came to see him, he wasn't actually that surprised.
Ye Qing was surprised that Ye Shuwei would come looking for her again. Hadn't her attitude been clear enough?
Not knowing why Ye Shuwei had sought her out, Ye Qing didn't want to know. In her opinion, she and Ye Shuwei really had nothing to say to each other. So, after a moment of silence, Ye Qing reiterated her stance to Ye Shuwei: "I don't think we have anything to say to each other."
After saying that, Ye Qing thought that Ye Shuwei should leave if she knew what was good for her. But to her surprise, Ye Shuwei not only didn't leave, but also didn't seem unhappy. Instead, she looked at Xi Yue.

Ye Qing saw Xi Yue shift her shy gaze to look at him, and then heard Xi Yue say, "Ye Qing, it's just a few words."
But she didn't even want to say a few words to Ye Shuwei. It wasn't that Ye Qing was overthinking things, but she always felt that Ye Shuwei coming to see her was not for anything good.
Ye Qing felt that her attitude was very clear, and everyone could see it. However, she didn't know why Ye Shuwei was so confident, and she even followed Xi Yue's words and said, "It's almost time to eat, let's have a meal together."
Ye Qing would naturally strongly object to this, but Xi Yue was delighted and pulled Ye Qing along, saying, "Let's go together!"

The moment Ye Qing looked away, she heard Ye Shuwei say, "I just wanted to have a meal with you to ease the tension between us, after all, we are..."
Although Ye Qing didn't want to say much to Ye Shuwei, he wasn't too angry. After all, he was running a business, and while he wasn't welcome, there was no need to speak ill of him.
However, Ye Qing felt very uncomfortable hearing Ye Shuwei's words, as if Ye Qing did not want to mend their relationship.
Of course, Ye Qing doesn't want to mend relations with him right now, but the reason why she doesn't want to mend relations is still because of Ye Shuwei.

Having said all that, Ye Shuwei would really lose face if she didn't leave, so he had no choice but to turn around helplessly.

After calming down, Ye Qing thought that maybe he was overthinking it. After all, a glass door is glass and it's not the same as a mirror. Maybe it's because the reflection makes people's expressions look distorted.
After comforting himself like this, Ye Qing stopped thinking about it.
When Ye Qing was about to close the shop and return to her dormitory that evening, Xi Yue came back again.
"Why are you back again?" Ye Qing glanced at the shop, which had already turned off the lights, and slowed down her movements as she closed and locked the door.
Xi Yue didn't answer Ye Qing's question, but instead raised the bottle of wine she was holding: "Want a drink?"

When Xi Yue walked with Ye Shuwei, she seemed quite happy.
