"Meow."
When she returned home, the first person to greet Fang Jianjin was her cat Diandian.
Fang Jianjin touched the little cutie, then changed her shoes and went home.
"Mom, is there anything to eat? I'm so hungry." Fang Jianjin went straight into the kitchen.
"Hey, kid, it's already so late and you haven't eaten yet? I tell you, your stomach can't take this kind of treatment." Fang's mother was angry.
Fang's father, who was watching TV with Fang's mother, quickly nudged her and whispered, "Alright, alright, you're not going to leave some for her? Go and warm it up for her."
"I--" Fang's mother rolled her eyes and went to the kitchen.
Before she even got close, Fang Jianjin rushed out of the kitchen like a gust of wind and hugged Fang's mother who was walking into the dining room. "Mom, you're so kind. You even saved my favorite pork rib soup for me! Mua!"
As she said this, she smacked Fang's mother on the face.
Fang's mother wiped her face in disgust, "It's all saliva."
"Hey, I know you're the best, Mom."
"Is your dad not a good guy?" Fang's father was not happy.
"Dad, you're fine too. You're fine now!"
"Okay, stop joking. I didn't buy any good iron stick yam today, but I thought cordyceps flowers were good, so I made some cordyceps flower and pork rib soup for you. Let me heat it up for you." Fang's mother said as she went into the kitchen, and Fang Jianjin followed her in.
After a while, the food was reheated and served on the table. Fang Jianjin sat at the table and ate, secretly feeding some meat to her tabby cat.
Fang's mother came out and happened to see this scene. She felt helpless and couldn't help but sit across from her. Then she said, "Xiao Jin, look at you. You talk about cats and dogs all day long. You are 26 years old. Can you do something serious?"
"How can I be anything but serious? I work hard every day, I'm positive and strive to be the best. I'm so motivated and positive!" Fang Jianjin said as he sucked a cordyceps flower, chewed it, and drank a mouthful of pork rib soup, looking very satisfied.
"No, I mean you should find a boyfriend."
"puff."
The urging to get married came too suddenly. Fang Jianjin quickly took out a tissue to wipe his mouth and coughed twice.
When Mr. Fang heard the noise, he immediately stood up from the sofa, walked into the dining room, and sat down on the chair next to Mrs. Fang. He immediately asked, "That's right, how's it going? Has anything happened recently?"
"Cough cough!" Looking at his parents' expectant eyes, Fang Jianjin quickly covered his mouth and nose with a napkin, unable to recover.
"Hey, kid, try talking, okay?" Fang's mother asked urgently.
"Mom, Dad! Finding a boyfriend is all about fate. If fate hasn't arrived yet, there's nothing I can do about it. Besides, I'm only 26, not that old—"
"Wait, you said the destiny hasn't arrived yet, so that means it's what you want to find?" Fang's mother came closer, her eyes shining.
"Yes, very much." Fang Jianjin nodded heavily in a pretentious manner, and then said, "It would be great if the government could assign a boyfriend to me, just like you guys were assigned jobs back then."
The words sound nice, but the attitude is very perfunctory.
But she didn't expect that her words were exactly what Mother Fang wanted.
"That's good!" Fang's mother slapped her knees and quickly looked at Fang's father, "Fang Xinghua, tell your daughter quickly."
Father Fang suddenly laughed, leaned forward slightly, and was about to speak when Fang Jianjin quickly reached out to stop him, "Well, I'm full, you guys take your time chatting!"
"Sit down! Where are you running to?" Fang's mother stood up and grabbed Fang Jianjin.
"Mom..." Fang Jianjin turned her head to look at her mother, having a bad feeling.
"sit down."
Fang Jianjin was being dragged and had no choice but to sit down.
Then she heard her father say, "Xiao Jin, this is what's going on. Tomorrow, your mom and I are going to spend the weekend with your Uncle Hang and his family at some farm stay. Your Uncle Hang's son, Hang Xingyi, is going to City G, and we're going to drive your Uncle Hang's car out for fun, so we need you to drive our car to take your brother Hang to the airport."
Fang Jianjin knew what her parents were planning as soon as she heard it. She pretended not to understand, "What about Hang Yi? Can't he just call a car himself? If all else fails, the bus or subway will do. Why does he need me to take him there?"
"You kid! If we hadn't made an appointment with your Uncle Hang and the others, they would definitely have personally sent us to the airport. Why can't you go? Can't you just let your dad and I enjoy the weekend?"
"Okay, this is moral kidnapping. Mom, if you want to arrange a blind date for me, can't you just tell me directly? You are too unreliable, aren't you? How can you arrange for a girl to send a boy to the airport? It's as if I can't get married and I have to deliver myself to your door." Fang Jianjin was dissatisfied.
