Hang Xingyi was a little embarrassed, but he was clearly taking the fight, and asked back, "As a customer coming here to get the vaccine, shouldn't you, as a doctor, explain it clearly?"
"Ms. Fang actually made it very clear before. The kitten itself does not carry the virus, and it has not been outside for a long time and has not been in contact with the source of infection." Jian Xiu countered the move.
"Then why did your doctor recommend vaccination before? Is this the so-called industry rule? An industry rule that is only for making money?" Hang Xing retorted angrily.
"You——" Liu Shengyi wanted to say something.
Jian Xiu glanced at him and stopped him from speaking.
Then, Jian Xiu looked at Hang Xingyi and said, "My doctor suggested that there is still a small probability of an incident. In addition to cats and dogs, bats or other mammals may also be the ones that can spread rabies. What if a bat gets into their house? And this bat happens to be carrying rabies? No one can guarantee it. So, out of caution, we still recommend that you get the vaccine, but--"
He paused, then glanced at Fang Jianjin, then continued to explain to Hang Xingyi, "This is a low-probability event after all. On the other hand, this cat is allergic to vaccines. There's a bump where the last shot was given, along with symptoms like loss of appetite, red spots on the belly, and scratching all over the body. These are all recorded in its medical records. If you insist on getting the vaccine, the possibility of this happening is very high, and the kitten will suffer greatly."
"Is there no way for your hospital to eliminate allergies? Aren't there any anti-allergy shots?"
Fang Jianjin was so disgusted with Hang Xingyi's half-knowledge and yet quite reasonable attitude that she couldn't help but interrupt him this time, saying, "That's enough. I'm allergic to a little bit. I don't want to take the risk. This is over-vaccination."
"Then you're taking risks with people? It's just a cat." Hang Xingyi retorted.
Fang Jianjin laughed angrily, "So what Dr. Jian has been saying to you for so long is just a bunch of nonsense? Do you think bats will get into my house or something? Hang Xingyi, you've really had enough!"
Fang Jianjin could no longer be polite to this man.
Who is it?
"Xiao Jin you——"
"Don't call me that. We're not that familiar. What do you mean it's just a cat? Yes, it is a cat, but it is much more important to me than an outsider like you. Go away. I don't want to see you."
Hang Xingyi frowned in confusion when she said this in front of everyone, as if he thought she was hopeless.
"You people are really unreasonable!" He threw down these words and turned away.
But he turned and walked too quickly, and happened to collide with a customer coming in from outside, knocking the girl to the ground.
There was a "bang" sound, accompanied by the girl's rapid scream.
"Welcome! Welcome!"
At the same time, the sensor doorbell rang mechanically.
Everyone was attracted by the noise and saw Hang Xingyi pulling the girl up. Even when he was apologizing, his face was tense.
However, Fang Jianjin and Jian Xiu's eyes fell on the girl, because the person who came was none other than Ji Mi, whom they met in the hotel last weekend.
Jian Xiu pushed the wheelchair and was about to leave.
When the girl saw Jian Xiu's actions, she didn't even have time to say "It's okay" and immediately pushed Hang Xingyi away and quickly chased after Jian Xiu.
After being pushed, Hang Xingyi let out a sigh of regret and left immediately.
"Brother Xiu!" Ji Mi directly stopped in front of Jian Xiu.
Jian Xiu lowered his eyes and turned his wheelchair, not wanting to pay attention to her, but who knew that this person would stop him again.
He then raised his eyes to look at the woman who appeared in front of him and said coldly: "Miss Ji, I think I have made it clear enough."
Ji Mi's face turned pale, but she quickly said, "I'm not here to see you for personal matters. I'm here to see a doctor for my pet."
As she said that, she immediately opened her bag, revealing a white ragdoll kitten.
"It's sick and I need help from your hospital." Ji Mi said, then took out the kitten.
The cat in her hands was limp, with drooping eyelids and a listless look. There was sticky secretion on its cute nose.
Jian Xiu glanced at the cat in her hand, his eyes becoming increasingly cold. He then looked at her straight in the eyes and said, "Sorry, our hospitalization quota is full. You should look for another hospital."
He actually directly rejected Ji Mi's request.
Ji Mi's expression changed several times, and then she said, "Can you at least help me take a look? Aren't you a doctor? If there's no hospitalization spot, I'll bring it here for injections and infusions later. Is that okay?"
There was a pleading tone in Ji Mi's voice, but the way she held the cat was not gentle at all.
Seeing this, Fang Jianjin couldn't help but remind him, "Hold the cat tightly, or it will fall."
Only then did Ji Mi notice Fang Jianjin next to her. Thinking of what Jian Xiu said last week, and seeing the two of them standing together, she suddenly felt a little embarrassed.
"Why!"
Just when she was distracted, the cat struggled and actually broke free from her hand!
Fortunately, Fang Jianjin was quick and caught the little guy.
Half-kneeling on the ground, Fang Jianjin was still in shock. Then she felt the cat's body temperature and couldn't help but look up and say to Jian Xiu, "It seems a little hot."
"Give it back to her." Jian Xiu's voice sounded coldly.
Fang Jianjin handed the cat over as he was told. "Here you go. It's sick. You'd better get it treated as soon as possible."
Ji Mi's gaze shifted from the cat in Fang Jianjin's hand to her face, and then she stared at her without blinking.
This look was full of scrutiny and inquiry, as well as a hint of jealousy and hostility, which made Fang Jianjin feel extremely uncomfortable.
