After receiving a temporary notice of a business trip, Fang Jianjin quickly packed her luggage after returning home, ate a bowl of rice quickly under the supervision of her mother, and then took a taxi directly to the company.
It was only 1:20 when she arrived at the newspaper office, and she couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
"Li She!"
The person leading the team this time was Li Chengjun, the vice president of their daily newspaper. Fang Jianjin hurried over to greet him.
"Xiao Fang, right? Okay, get in the car when we get there, and take these two pieces of water with you." Li Chengjun said immediately.
"Okay." Fang Jianjin put the suitcase away and then immediately came over to get the water.
The members of the interview team also arrived one after another. After Fang Jianjin got the water into the car, he borrowed a fruit knife from the driver, cut open the plastic bag, and then took the water and handed it directly to those who had people, and temporarily put it on the seat if there was no one.
Seeing how smart she was, Li Chengjun was quite satisfied.
At 1:45, almost everyone was there. Li Chengjun sat in the front with the interview team. Seeing that nothing was wrong, Fang Jianjin walked to the second to last row and sat down.
But just as she sat down and put her backpack in front of her to take out the airplane pillow, a voice came from the side, "Is anyone here?"
"Oh, no, please—"
The word "zuo" got stuck in his throat.
"It's you?" The other party was also very surprised.
Fang Jianjin looked at Ji Mi who suddenly appeared, feeling a little confused.
"Everyone, please sit down and fasten your seat belts. Our bus is about to depart." The driver's voice rang out.
Ji Mi didn't care about being surprised anymore, and quickly sat down next to Fang Jianjin, then smiled slightly and said, "What a coincidence."
"What a coincidence indeed." Fang Jianjin replied dryly.
"Are you a member of the interview team?" Ji Mi asked while fastening her seat belt.
"Well, sort of. This time, all the media outlets have formed a special interview team, and I'm from the daily newspaper."
"So you're from the daily newspaper." Ji Mi nodded, then extended her hand towards Fang Jianjin and introduced herself, "I'm the specially invited photographer for this interview group. Nice to meet you."
Fang Jianjin stretched out his hand and shook hands with her, then withdrew it, but he couldn't tell what he felt in his heart.
It was obvious that Ji Mi was much better at socializing than her, and she was the one who took the initiative from beginning to end.
In fact, Fang Jianjin is not bad in this aspect, but she can't treat this person who is suspected to be Jian Xiu's ex-girlfriend normally.
Comparing in this way, Ji Mi is much stronger mentally than her. After all, she is also suspected to be Jian Xiu's current girlfriend!
The bus started moving very quickly. Because the sun was very strong, Fang Jianjin took the initiative to draw the curtains. Seeing the light coming from behind, she asked the boy in the back row to help draw the curtains on his side.
Ji Mi couldn't help but laugh and said, "You are quite good at taking care of people."
Fang Jianjin felt a little uncomfortable, "Really?"
Then she took out an airplane pillow from her bag, put it on her neck, and said, "I checked. It takes at least four hours to get to Cen County. I'm going to sleep first."
She had originally planned to sleep because she had a habit of feeling sleepy as soon as she got on a bus or a plane. She could not do anything else but sleep.
I don’t know what to talk about with Ji Mi right now, so I’d rather go to sleep first.
Then the two stopped talking. Fang Jianjin closed his eyes and was indeed drowsy.
When I woke up, the car had already stopped at the highway rest area.
"Everyone who needs to go to the bathroom, please go quickly. The next time we stop will be when we arrive in Cen County," said the driver.
Fang Jianjin woke up slowly and quickly took off the pillow.
The seat next to her was empty, so she immediately got off the bus and went to the bathroom. When she came back, she passed by a supermarket and couldn't help but buy a hot dog.
She ate lunch in such a hurry that she was hungry when she woke up.
She ate while observing her surroundings, fearing that if she was seen eating alone it would have a bad impact. Then she saw Ji Mi taking pictures with a camera nearby.
Ji Mi has short hair, wears a nude pink shirt and white cropped pants, looks capable and intellectual. At this moment, she is holding a camera to take pictures, which makes her look very literary.
Fang Jianjin looked down at himself again. He was wearing white sneakers, jeans, a long-sleeved T-shirt, and a work badge on his chest. He looked like a poor kid rushing to an interview.
"Meow!"
Just then, a calico cat walked towards her and looked up at her.
To be precise, he was looking at the hot dog in her hand.
"Do you want to eat?" Fang Jianjin asked.
"Meow." The cat called again and rubbed her calf.
Fang Jianjin looked at the cat and found that its belly was slightly bulging and there was a small bell around its neck. He smiled helplessly, then shook his head and said, "I can't give this to you. I dipped it in chili powder."
As she said this, she quickly bit the whole hot dog into her mouth in two bites, chewed with her cheeks puffed out, then squatted down and petted the cat.
"Meow." The cat called again and nudged the palm of her hand with its head.
Fang Jianjin laughed immediately, without swallowing the hot dog in his cheek.
Just then, she felt someone was looking at her. She looked up and saw Ji Mi put down the camera and smiled at her.
Ji Mi lowered her head to examine the photo, then said to her, "It looks good."
Fang Jianjin quickly swallowed the hot dog in his mouth and walked over quickly.
"Look, isn't it a good shot?" Ji Mi handed over the camera.
Fang Jianjin took a quick look and immediately said, "Please delete the photo, Miss Ji."
Ji Mi's face suddenly looked a little ugly.
