Chapter 107 My Boyfriend's Late-Night Sleep Aid: Adult Voice and Body Teaching

Chapter 107 My Boyfriend's Late-Night Sleep Aid: Adult Voice and Body Teaching

March 5, rainy night in Kanagawa

I had originally planned to celebrate my birthday with Yukimura, but he is currently abroad undergoing clay court training.

The phone vibrated, and the video call interface lit up.

Risa's hair was still dripping wet, with dark water stains spreading across the neckline of her pajamas. She tilted her head, holding a towel between her shoulders, her cheeks slightly flushed from the steam.

"Just finished showering?" Yukimura propped his phone up on the locker and removed the Velcro strap from his wristband.

"Hmm." Risa leaned closer to the camera lens to wipe away the condensation. "You haven't showered yet, have you? Go quickly—"

"Wait a little longer." He suddenly stopped what he was doing. "Let me look at you a little longer."

There was a brief silence on the other end of the screen, filled by the sound of rain outside the window.

......

About half an hour later, Yukimura came out of the bathroom, drying his wet hair.

He stared at his phone screen, hesitating for a moment.

Risa was working almost every night to finish the graduation limited edition merchandise. She finally met the deadline yesterday and is resting today.

She's probably already asleep by now.

My fingertip hovered above the dialog box, but before I could type any words, the screen suddenly lit up.

Risa's voice call request popped up, and when she answered, her voice sounded hoarse.

"Are you... done?"

"Hmm." Yukimura brought the phone closer to his ear. "Still not asleep?"

A deep breath came through the receiver, followed by Risa's deliberately soft voice:

Happy birthday, Oichi.

He gazed at the unfamiliar starry sky outside the window, his Adam's apple bobbing slightly: "Yes. I heard it."

Silence flowed through the radio waves.

Neither of them could be by each other's side this year—Risa's birthday coincided with his upcoming tournament schedule, and today he was stuck on this clay court.

But at this moment, separated by time zones and mountains and seas, they share the same silent darkness.

The two talked on the phone for a long time.

Until Risa let out a small yawn.

"Go to sleep," Yukimura said, feeling sorry for her.

"Okay..." she agreed, but lingered on the phone.

Yukimura laughed: "What, you're reluctant to part with me?"

"No, that's not it!" she muttered. "It's just... just because it's your birthday today... that I'll stay with you a little longer."

This contrast between saying one thing and meaning another always captivated him, no matter how many times he did it.

Suddenly, the background music for starting a game leaked from the receiver.

"Playing games?"

"Um... It's an otome game recommended by Chika." She answered vaguely, the sound of her fingers swiping across the screen clearly audible. "She said the card designs are very popular lately, so I'm... looking at them for inspiration."

"Otome games? You mean those games where you date virtual characters?"

"Yeah, right," she said, perking up, "all the characters in it are so good at flirting, their voices are so sweet they'd make your ears pregnant, and they're especially good at making people happy..."

Yukimura gave a soft "heh," his voice rising at the end: "I see."

"Hey, Oichi~"

She called to him in a soft, gentle voice, as if whispering in his ear.

Yukimura raised an eyebrow. This affected, coquettish tone usually meant she was up to something mischievous again.

“You once said…” she paused, and her phone clicked to take a screenshot, “You liked me the most, right?”

Even though he knew it was a trap, the corners of his lips couldn't help but turn up in a smile.

"Yes. I like Risa the most."

His fingertips unconsciously traced the edge of his phone. "Do I need to prove it with my actions now?"

There was a noticeable pause in breathing on the other end of the phone.

"For example?"

Yukimura leaned back on the deck chair on the terrace, a shadow falling as the collar of his bathrobe slipped open.

“For example…” he drew out the syllable maliciously as his Adam’s apple bobbed, “everything that can be done on the phone.”

"Then...read this to me!"

The next second, a Line notification sound rang out crisply.

Yukimura opened the message, and a screenshot of the game popped up on the screen.

The pink dialog box clearly stated:

"Sister...can you teach me what love is?"

A small note in the bottom right corner:

[Requirement: Read aloud using a voice that combines yandere, maniac, and coquettish qualities.]

His gaze lingered on the word "older sister" for a moment, a playful smile playing on his lips: "So Risa likes this type?"

"But the last time I called him that, he blushed and told me to shut up."

“That’s a different matter!” she demanded matter-of-factly. “It has to be a particularly seductive voice, like… a crazy, yandere, yet slightly coquettish one.”

"......"

"Hurry up!" she started to act like a brat. "Didn't you say you liked me the most?"

Yukimura chuckled softly.

It seems she's determined to get back at him today. While it's not that I can't let her have her way a little, but...

"Oh? Risa wants me... to speak in this voice?"

He pronounced the word "oh" lightly, slowed down the three words "I hope I" with a slightly lowered breath, and suddenly sped up the last half of the sentence, with a hint of laughter at the end, but without any warmth.

"......"

There was silence on the other end of the phone.

A faint gasp could be heard.

Just as he predicted, she's bad at games and loves to play. She's completely susceptible to being flirted with.

But once the game has started, it's not going to end so easily.

"elder sister......?"

Yukimura lowered his tone, adding a lazy nasal sound, as if he were savoring the word. The ending sound was slightly prolonged, but instead of rising, it went down, creating a sense of pressure.

"Could you teach me...?"

He paused, then read it out in a breathy voice, the volume dropping sharply, as if whispering.

What is love?

"Use your body."

"—Just kidding."

"You, you, you, you...!!!"

"Isn't that enough effort?" he sighed, perplexed. "How about this?"

"My sister's lips... look so soft..."

"Wait, wait a minute!" Risa interrupted him. "Is this the original line?!"

"I wanted to confirm..." His breath brushed against the microphone, "...is it sweeter than cotton candy?"

A dull thud came from the other end of the phone, followed by her gasp in pain. She must have been playing games while lying down when her phone hit her face.

"Ouch...it hurts so much..." Her voice was tinged with grievance and embarrassment as she sobbed, "You, you're too cunning...who adds lines on the spot!"

Yukimura leaned casually against the balcony railing: "Don't you like it?"

"Who, who would like that! Such lewd talk..."

"I see..." He paused, as if pondering some important question, "Then... is it annoying?"

There was a suspicious silence on the other end of the phone, before a low voice finally managed to squeeze out a reply: "...Because it's A-Shi's voice...I don't dislike it..."

The smile in Yukimura's eyes deepened.

"So...should we continue?"

After a subtle pause, he added, "I have... a lot of inspiration for improvisation here."

"No need! I give up!" she shouted in despair.

After a brief silence, she asked suspiciously, "Oichi...you didn't secretly study these lines, did you? How can you be so familiar with them...?"

"No~" Yukimura gazed at the crescent moon on the horizon, his voice returning to its usual gentle tone: "It's just... these words..."

"......?"

"These are all things I've always wanted to say to Risa."

In an instant, the call fell into an eerie silence, as if even the sound of breathing had disappeared.

It scared her again.

Or rather, did you manage to flirt with her?

"Waaah..."

The sobbing that came through the receiver had a wet, nasal tone, followed by the muffled sound of a pillow being pounded.

Yukimura vividly pictured the girl's eyes wide open, her blush spreading from her cheeks to her collarbone, her whole body slumped in the down comforter, her legs kicking in embarrassment and anger.

His Adam's apple bobbed silently as he loosened the collar of his bathrobe.

"Risa".

"Why...why are you calling me like that all of a sudden..." Her voice trembled, sounding somewhat pitiful.

"Today is March 5th~" he drawled, his voice lower than it rose.

"I know...it's your birthday."

"I'm an adult now."

"...Huh?"

She was clearly still processing what was happening; her breathing came through the receiver like feathers brushing against her eardrums. Yukimura gazed at the moonlight streaming through the window and pressed the phone even closer—

"Want to give it a try?"

"Try what?"

"When we meet," he said, his voice irresistible to her, tinged with the dampness of his breath, each word distinct, "let my sister... teach me with her body what adult love is."

"What...what are you saying all of a sudden?!" Her voice suddenly rose, and she stammered, trying to find an excuse, "First, it must be because of overwork during training!"

Go to sleep early! Good night!

The call was abruptly cut off.

Yukimura stared at the darkened screen, where his triumphant smile was still reflected.

"good evening."

He murmured to the void.

mine--

They built high walls of reason, yet opened their hearts to me;

Independent and strong, gentle yet resilient, she can always sense my emotional fluctuations.

She's completely powerless against romantic lines, yet she always seems to unintentionally utter devastating remarks.

Every time she tries to seduce me, she runs away halfway through, but that only makes me fall deeper into her trap.

Accept and deeply love the real me...

In mid-March, the cherry blossoms were like snow.

Powder snow gently fell on the branches and streets of Kanagawa, turning Rikkai University into a soft pinkish-white.

The heartwarming and healing spring short drama "Spring Sonata" was released amidst the trend.

Risa, who joined the cast later as a substitute, didn't have many scenes, but most of her appearances were memorable, with classic and powerful lines that easily won her a large number of fans.

On graduation day, Risa almost caused a small crowd to gather as soon as she appeared on the Rikkai University campus.

"It's Risa! It really is her!"

"Can I take a picture with you, senior? I cried in every episode of 'Spring Sonata'!"

"Look here, senior! Congratulations on your graduation!"

Risa smiled throughout and readily agreed to take photos with her juniors, becoming a popular photo spot at Rikkai University that day.

By the time the little seaweed finally squeezed through, more than half an hour had passed!

"It's my turn! It's my turn!" Kirihara Akaya shouted as he came over.

Kirihara Akina had already set up her camera and was grinning as she directed, "Little seaweed, stand still! Don't block Risa-nee's face. Come on, look at the camera—smile!"

The entire Kirihara family came out today to celebrate Risa's graduation.

As Kirihara's mother gently tidied Risa's wind-blown hair, she smiled and said, "Our Risa is truly the most dazzling presence today."

Kirihara's father, standing nearby, tapped Akaya on the head. "You brat, look serious! This is Risa's important day!"

After taking photos of the siblings, the quick-witted Qiu Nai immediately grabbed a passing classmate: "Hey classmate! Can you take a family photo for us? Make sure it looks good!"

Thus, a "Kirihara family graduation photo" was born, with cherry blossoms in the background, Risa surrounded by the Kirihara family, and everyone smiling happily.

After they finished taking photos, Qianxia came over and handed them a small bouquet of light pink flowers.

"Happy graduation, Risa-senpai."

Before Risa could thank them, Asuka and Yuzuki also came over with smiles. They were both holding the same bouquets, which were obviously from Chinatsu as well.

"Happy graduation, Risa."

"Happy graduation, Risa-chan."

As the four were talking, they heard footsteps coming from afar.

The tennis club members were walking through the cherry blossom path, the spirited and handsome young men standing out amidst the fluttering petals.

"Matsuno, happy graduation." Renji Yanagi stepped forward and handed over a bouquet of white roses adorned with pure white jasmine flowers.

Students passing by stopped to watch, some looking on with amusement, others whispering amongst themselves.

Risa took two steps back in surprise. "Liu-kun, what's wrong?"

"This was given to you by Yukimura," Liu said calmly.

Yukimura was currently abroad participating in an important ITF challenge and was unable to take leave, something she had known all along.

“He chose the flowers himself and asked me to pick them up this morning.” He nodded slightly, his gaze falling on the card peeking out from among the bouquets. “He left you a message; you can read it yourself.”

Risa accepted the bouquet with some skepticism and pulled out the card.

On the pure white cardstock was his neat and sharp handwriting, containing only a short sentence:

"I will be there on time for both your championship and your graduation ceremony. I'm sorry, I can't keep my promise this time. — Yukimura Seiichi"

There is another line of smaller text below:

"I give you jasmine, may we never be apart."

The laughter and joyful sounds of friends gradually faded away.

Risa's fingertips tightened, clutching the thin card as if she were holding a heavy promise from across the ocean. The fragrance of jasmine grew stronger, gently enveloping her like an untouchable embrace.

She lowered her head, smiled very softly, and carefully held the bouquet in her arms.

"Happy graduation, Oichi."
