The next day.
In just one day, the farce that took place in the Marquis' Mansion spread throughout the capital.
Shen Haoyue was sipping tea in the elegant room of Fengyue Tower when he suddenly heard voices talking about the "Ji Family" coming from the lobby downstairs.
He listened carefully and heard the storyteller downstairs slam the gavel on the table.
With a "pa" sound, the storyteller's serious voice came into his ears:
"For example, when the Marquis of Anding was carried off the carriage by the servants, his hair was disheveled like weeds, his body was covered in filth and blood, and there were even rows of flies buzzing around his head."

Shen Haoyue didn't waste any words, walked around to the opposite side of Xie Wanzhou, and sat down directly.
Xie Wanzhou picked up the teapot, slowly poured a cup of tea, and made a "please" gesture.

"Did you arrange the storyteller downstairs?"

Xie Wanzhou said this, picked up the teacup and took a sip.
He continued, "But I didn't come here today just to invite you to watch a play. I have something important to give you."

Xie Wanzhou did not respond, but winked at Ling Qing behind him.
Ling Qing understood and immediately walked up to Shen Haoyue holding a rosewood box.
"Second Young Master, here."
Ling Qing handed the box to Shen Haoyue.
Shen Haoyue took it in surprise, opened the box, and saw some secret letters inside.
Shen Haoyue frowned slightly, took out a secret letter from inside, opened it without saying a word and examined it carefully.
After reading it, Shen Haoyue’s face instantly became gloomy.
"This... is this evidence that Ji Yunchuan was greedy for merit and rashly advanced, then deserted the battlefield during the border battle?"
Shen Haoyue exclaimed in surprise.

Xie Wanzhou pursed his lips and smiled, then continued drinking tea.

Xie Wanzhou sighed, "Ever since the tragic news of the border battle arrived, I've felt something was amiss, and I've been secretly investigating, only then did I uncover this evidence."
"Then why did you suddenly hand over this evidence to me?"
Shen Haoyue's tone was slightly cold, and there was no politeness in his words.
Since being deposed as the crown prince, Xie Wanzhou has been keeping a low profile and has not been involved with the ministers in the court.
He was suddenly approached today and couldn't let his guard down.
