Ruan Jingye grabbed her collar and she looked up at him in confusion.
Ruan Jingye raised his eyes and glanced at Laozi, then looked away and gestured to Ruanruan to tell him what to say later.
She pursed her lips, opened her round eyes, and nodded seriously.
She used her eyes to tell her uncle that she would never betray him.
"Uncle and nephew, what are you doing standing there?"
Seeing that they hadn't come over yet, Grandpa Ruan couldn't help but speak.
"Grandpa, here comes Ruanruan!"
Ruanruan changed into her slippers and ran towards Grandpa Ruan.
"Dad, you've worked hard. I have something else to do, so I'll go upstairs first." Ruan Jingye walked upstairs with a box of things in his arms.
"Wait, what are you holding?" Grandpa Ruan had sharp eyes. Seeing him acting sneaky and with unsteady steps, he felt that he was up to no good.
"Dad, please take the crew's things home for the time being." Ruan Jingye said with a smile.
He didn't dare tell the old man now, for fear that he would have a heart attack.
Mr. Ruan waved his hand without any interest and said, "Then why are you so timid? Hurry up and take it upstairs. Let's go downstairs for dinner."

Ruan Jingye frowned, wondering what the old man said when he came back.

Mr. Ruan ignored him and his attention was diverted to Ruanruan.
"Ruanruan, come and let grandpa see you. Grandpa isn't home recently. Have you eaten well?"
He pulled Ruanruan into his arms, looked at her carefully, and soon found something wrong.
