Empress Dowager Chaharan and Prince Zhahemu of the Left both looked very solemn in the face of Li Yunting's accusations. They understood that they had to remain calm at this moment in order to clear their grievances.
"Stop slandering me!" Chaharan shouted angrily. "I have no grudge against the Right Wise Prince. Why would you harm him? Besides, these plates are distributed by the attendants. How would I know which one will end up in the hands of the Right Wise Prince?"
Li Yunting sneered, a sly look flashing in her eyes. "Humph, of course you knew! Because you planned it all out long ago! You were the ones who poisoned this plate!"
At this moment, Nurhadu stepped forward and looked at Li Yunting with a firm gaze: "What evidence do you have to prove that it was my father and the Queen Mother who poisoned me? If you don't have any real evidence, you will pay the price for making such a false accusation!"
Li Yunting was intimidated by Nurhadu's aura. She took a step back, but still refused to give in. "Evidence? The Right Wise King is dead. That's the best evidence! You're so despicable and shameless that you're willing to sacrifice others' lives just to fight for power!"
Just as the two sides were arguing, a guard hurried over, holding a small, exquisite porcelain bottle in his hands. "Reporting to the Left Xian Wang and the Queen Mother, this porcelain bottle was found under the barbecue grill. It contains a deadly poison."
Upon hearing this, everyone gathered around to see what was happening. They saw a black liquid in the porcelain bottle, emitting a faint fishy odor. Zuo Xian Wang Zhahemu took the porcelain bottle, examined it carefully for a moment, and then handed it to the doctor for examination.
The doctor took the porcelain bottle, carefully opened the stopper, and tested it with a silver needle. His face changed color as he said, "This is indeed a highly poisonous substance, and it matches the poison that the Right Sage Prince was poisoned with."
After hearing this, Li Yunting became even more proud: "Look! This is the evidence that you poisoned me!" However, she did not notice the cunning that flashed in Nurhadu's eyes.
"Since this porcelain bottle was found under the barbecue grill, someone must have placed it there deliberately to frame us," Nurhadu analyzed calmly. "And if it was really my father and the Queen Mother who poisoned us, why would they have left the evidence at the scene? It's obvious someone did this deliberately to frame someone else."
Nurhadu's words made everyone nod in agreement. Although Li Yunting's accusation was aggressive, it lacked solid evidence.
Chaharan said to the crowd: "Since someone wants to frame us, let everyone at this banquet stay until the truth comes out." Her voice was calm but revealed unquestionable majesty.
Just as Chaharan finished speaking, a burst of rapid horse hooves sounded from afar, shocking everyone present.
Doziger came galloping with a team of elite cavalry. Their arrival was like a sudden storm, pushing the already tense atmosphere to a climax.
The cavalrymen were well-trained and formed a tight encirclement around the crowd. The cold light of their spears flickered in the setting sun, illuminating Dozier's gloomy face.
He swept his cold eyes over everyone present, and finally stopped at the Left Wise King Zhahemu.
"Father, I know everything about you and the Queen Mother's conspiracy to poison the Right Wise Prince." Doziger's voice was cold and firm, as if every word was carefully considered. "You should turn back from your mistakes and don't make the same mistake again."
When Zuo Xian Wang Zhahemu faced his son's accusations, a trace of pain and confusion flashed in his eyes, and he tried to keep his voice steady.
"Doziger, what are you talking about? How could you believe such rumors? The Queen Mother and I knew nothing about the death of the Right Wise Prince, let alone poisoning him."
"Rumors? That's not a rumor!" Doziger sneered and pulled out a roll of parchment from his bosom. "This is a secret letter I found in your tent. It clearly describes how you conspired with the Queen Mother to poison the Right Wise King!"
Everyone was in an uproar when they heard this, and Li Yunting laughed triumphantly: "Haha, it seems you have no way to defend yourself this time!"
However, Nurhadu was not frightened by Doziger's sudden attack. He calmly held the small porcelain bottle containing poison, looked at it for a while, and snorted in his heart.
"Everyone, look at what's stained on this white porcelain bottle?"
Nurhadu's voice rang out among the crowd, and he held up the exquisite little porcelain bottle so that everyone could clearly see the marks on the bottle.
The white porcelain vase is stained with a conspicuous rose-red dye, like a delicate flower blooming on a plain white background.
Empress Dowager Chaharan recognized the source of the dye at a glance. She exclaimed and turned her gaze to Li Yunting's fingers.
There was also rose-red nail polish applied there, the same color as the dye on the porcelain vase.
This discovery immediately caused an uproar among the crowd.
"This... How is this possible?" Li Yunting's face turned pale in an instant. She stared at the porcelain bottle in Nurhadu's hand with wide eyes in disbelief. Panic surged in her heart, as if she had been swept into the abyss by a huge wave.
"How is it impossible?" Nurhadu looked at her coldly. "This porcelain vase was found under the barbecue grill. The color of your tanchou is exactly the same as the dye on the porcelain vase. Isn't this a coincidence?"
"I... I didn't poison!" Li Yunting defended herself in a panic, but her voice had lost its previous firmness and confidence.
"Then why are you so panicked?" Nurhadu pressed on. "If you didn't poison it, where did the dye on the porcelain bottle come from? Did it just fly onto your finger?"
Li Yunting's expression changed unpredictably. She knew she was in a desperate situation. Suddenly, she screamed and shouted to Dozier, "What are you waiting for? Hurry up and do it!"
A flicker of hesitation flashed across Dozier's eyes, but it was quickly replaced by determination. With a wave of his hand, the cavalrymen behind him charged at the crowd, spears raised. The banquet scene immediately descended into chaos and fighting.
Seeing the situation deteriorate rapidly, Nurhadu made a quick decision and turned to his master Anda and said, "Master Anda, please take the Queen Mother, the Crown Prince, and my father away from here. I will cover your retreat!"
Master Anda was a veteran who had experienced many battles. He understood that this was not the time to show off his strength. He nodded and quickly protected Chaharan, the prince and the left wise king Zhahemu to evacuate to a safe place.
Nurhatu drew the sword from his waist and turned to face the cavalry charging towards him. The sword flashed and a fight broke out.
He looked at Dozier with a determined gaze, knowing that this duel was inevitable. Dozier also drew his sword, and the two of them were on edge, the atmosphere extremely tense.
"Dozig, are you going to kill our father for your own ambition?" Nurhadu tried to awaken Dozig's reason.
But Doziger would no longer listen to any advice. He roared and swung his sword at Nurhadu.
