Chapter 5 Welcome to join the wool-picking group buying group!

While Captain Sun Yongfu was speaking, someone brought over a ladder, and Shiyue climbed down it.

She didn't turn around to look at Sun Chengcai and Liu Sannv standing to the side, but followed the captain out of the courtyard gate and headed to the brigade headquarters together.

As Shiyue pushed open the gate and stepped out, she suddenly heard a voice in her head: "Welcome to the group buying group for bargain hunting and special offers. Please claim your newcomer gift pack."

Then Shiyue noticed a large red envelope in front of her.

The envelope was very large, hanging in mid-air, blocking her view.

There was a yellow circle in the center of the envelope, and inside the circle was a large black character that read "Open".

Shiyue was completely stunned, somewhat unable to believe what she was seeing.

She subconsciously looked around and then realized that this thing should be visible only to her.

Shiyue was worried that her eyes were blurry from crying too much earlier.

She squeezed her eyes shut, and when she opened them, she found the envelope was still there.

She moved aside, but the envelope seemed to move as if it could walk, following her gaze.

Everything was a bright red, so she couldn't see anything else.

Seeing that Shiyue didn't seem to be getting to the point, the thing even swayed from side to side, and the "open" character in the middle shook towards her.

Shiyue's legs went weak, and she almost squatted down on the ground.

The hairs on her body stood on end!

Shiyue felt like she had encountered a ghost in broad daylight.

She felt both nervous and fearful.

Just then, Sun Yongfu, who was walking ahead, saw Shiyue stop and couldn't help but turn around and call out, "Shiyue, what are you doing? Why did you stop walking?"

Shiyue wanted to say it, but dared not.

In this day and age, people aren't allowed to talk about ghosts and gods. If she dared to tell others what she saw, not only would she be unable to do what she wanted, but she might also be arrested and criticized for promoting feudal superstition.

"Oh, I'm here. My legs are a little weak from coming down from the roof," Shiyue quickly explained, trying to remain calm.

She gritted her teeth and forced herself to charge forward.

But the big red envelope stood stubbornly in front of her, unmoving, as if it would not move unless she clicked on it!

Seeing that Sun Chengcai and his mother had also come out, Shiyue had no choice but to point to the character "open".

As she moved, a firework suddenly burst open in front of Shiyue's eyes.

Amidst the fireworks, the large red envelope slowly flipped, eventually revealing the number "49.9".

The words flickered and then faded, eventually disappearing completely.

Before Shiyue could even catch her breath, a series of "ding-dong" sounds rang in her mind again:

"Congratulations on winning a free meal at Qingxia Restaurant."

Congratulations on winning a free three-piece set meal from Maixiang!

"Congratulations on winning..."

The phone kept ringing in her head, but Shiyue couldn't care less at the moment.

With nothing blocking her way, she quickly chased after it.

Sun Yongfu walked quickly, accompanied by accountant Xu Lizhong and the propaganda officer.

Shiyue followed closely behind the three.

Sun Chengcai and his mother Liu Sannu followed behind Shiyue.

A few steps away from them were the crowd of onlookers in the team.

This long procession marched to the brigade headquarters.

Xu Lizhong stepped in and kept the onlookers outside the office. Even so, the small room was still packed with people.

Xu Lizhong wanted to ask the propaganda officer to rest in another room as well, but the man seemed not to understand the hint. He sat on the bench without moving, clearly wanting to observe the whole situation from the sidelines. He even took out paper and pen.

This left him helpless.

He could only give the captain a wink.

Faced with this situation, Sun Yongfu was furious, feeling that this family was simply causing trouble for the team!

It made the whole team look bad!

Of course, this anger was mainly directed at Sun Chengcai, since Sun Yongfu also understood that Shiyue was the victim in this matter.

Others might be wary of Sun Chengcai, but Sun Yongfu was not.

He had already figured it out; this thing was an ungrateful wretch who could never be tamed.

Even if they are relatives, their family won't benefit at all from his success!

When Old Man Shi married off his daughter, he asked Sun Yongfu to be the witness. Others might not know about the agreement between the two families, but Sun Yongfu knew it very well!

No matter where you go, the Shi family has always been kind to Sun Chengcai.

He was able to go to the city and become a college student, all thanks to the people who benefited from his success!

But look at how their family treats Shiyue?

This whole family has no conscience!

Thinking of this, Sun Yongfu disliked Sun Cheng even more.

He didn't even give him a chance to explain, and said directly, "The team is aware of your situation. If you want to get a divorce, then go ahead and get one. We agree!"

As soon as he said that, the room fell silent.

Xu Lizhong felt a sharp pain in his throat and coughed violently.

Regardless of what these people thought before, they were all shocked at this moment.

The main reason was that no one expected the captain to express his opinion so readily, and even to agree to the divorce—without even the most basic mediation.

Seeing everyone's reaction, Sun Youfu frowned and asked, "What, you don't want a divorce anymore?"

"Divorce! I want a divorce!" Sun Chengcai said quickly.

At that moment, he couldn't care about anything else; he only had one thought in his mind—to divorce Shiyue as soon as possible.

He didn't want to spend another day with that woman!

Shiyue nodded and said firmly, "Captain, I'm also willing to get a divorce."
