Chapter 36 is free!

Because everyone was talking about work, it got a little late, and the three male educated youths didn't have time to help Shiyue and the others fix the windows before it got completely dark.

They had to leave the Shi family before it got completely dark, as agreed.

By this time, Yu Chuxia's emotions had stabilized, and she had begun to feel embarrassed.

She insisted on pushing Shiyue out of the kitchen so she could go back and rest, while she stayed behind to clean up the dishes.

Shiyue didn't try to take it from her.

The main reason was that she had already felt her palms go numb several times while they were talking.

She knew it was a group message notification, but she couldn't check it in front of others.

Back in her room, Shiyue immediately focused her mind and checked the message on the screen.

She was surprised to find that she had received more than a dozen text messages in just a few hours.

Shiyue didn't check the messages immediately; her attention was drawn to a red dot that had appeared above the curtain.

It was an icon that looked like an envelope.

Shiyue clicked on it and then saw a notification: "Tomorrow I will request to add you as a friend. Do you agree?"

Tomorrow?

Shiyue thought for a moment, then remembered that this was someone from that group-buying group. She seemed to have tagged her before, wanting to buy yams.

Thinking of yams, Shiyue felt a little ashamed.

She had promised the people in the group that she would go dig for yams today, but the plan fell through because of the thief.

Thinking of this, Shiyue nodded towards the curtain and said, "I agree."

Although I don't know this person, I still have to explain myself since I broke my promise first.

Just as Shiyue agreed, a new dialog box appeared on the screen.

The dialog box looked the same as the previous group-buying group, except that the name at the top had changed from "group-buying group" to "Ming'er".

Looking at the brand new dialog box, Shiyue felt a little lost.

She didn't know how to greet the person opposite her.

Fortunately, she didn't have much time to hesitate before the other side bombarded her with several lines of text.

"My goodness, Shiyue, you've finally approved of me!"

"I'm Ming'er from the group buying group. Do you remember my name, Shiyue?"

"Shiyue, I added you mainly to ask if you still have any wild yams. I really want some. I apologize for bothering you."

"Hey, Shiyue, do you have any gift boxes? What's the price? Could you send them to me? I'd like to give them as gifts for the holidays."

Shiyue was a little stunned by the string of words that suddenly appeared. She never knew that someone could be so familiar with others.

They don't seem to know each other before?

But Shiyue didn't object to this way of getting along; on the contrary, she felt a little more relaxed.

Ming'er's words made her less nervous.

She looked at the curtain and said softly, "Hello, Ming'er, this is Shiyue. There are still yams. I'll go to the mountains to dig some up for you tomorrow. I'll try to dig as many as I can. But I don't know how many I can dig up right now."

"Okay, okay, the quantity doesn't matter. Even if I can't take them all, there are plenty of people in the group who want them. No matter how many you dig up, you won't be unable to sell them."

I feel a little bad that you had to go hiking in this cold weather.

"It doesn't matter."

Shiyue thought to herself that as long as she could make money, she didn't care how cold it was.

The two chatted for a while longer before the topic turned to **.

When Ming'er kept mentioning the gift box, Shiyue finally couldn't help but ask, "What kind of gift box do you want? Can you take a picture and send it to me? I'll see if I can find it."

Shiyue now knows how to use photos!

Sure enough, after hearing Shiyue's request, Ming'er immediately sent her a lot of pictures.

Those pictures were obviously found elsewhere, and many even had price tags attached.

The price made Shiyue's heart skip a beat; she couldn't believe it was real!

Soon, Shiyue was drawn to one of the pictures.

It was a rectangular wicker box with a handle on top, and it looked quite exquisite.

Actually, the things in the pictures that Ming'er sent all look very exquisite, but there's one that Shiyue thinks is worth imitating.

Although it may be a bit complicated, there are quite a few skillful people on the team, so maybe they can come up with a solution?

She said to Ming'er, "I'll give it a try. Tomorrow I'll go dig up some yams first, then go find **. I should be able to get back to you in about two or three days, okay?"

“Sure.” Ming’er sent a big smiley face emoji.

After making arrangements with Ming'er, Shiyue closed her chat window before checking the unread messages.

Then she realized that everyone was asking her when the next group buy would be.

Shiyue could only reply to each person individually, telling them that she would do her best as soon as possible.

After replying to all those messages, Shiyue finally had time to browse through the group chat history.

Before she could scroll up, someone named Xiaoqian in the group buying group tagged everyone.

Xiaoqian: "Excuse me, does anyone want some candy? I'm giving it away for free. There's a lot, about twenty pounds."

After the message was sent, the group chat fell silent for a moment, and the people who had been chatting stopped talking.

Slowly, someone finally uttered a question mark.

Immediately afterwards, someone else posted a "??"

Soon, a queue of "?" appeared, clearly everyone was confused by the message sent by Xiaoqian.

After a pause of about a minute, Xiaoqian sent out a long message.

"Oh dear, I didn't explain myself clearly. I'm just really angry right now!"
